~Chapter 27~ Evil's Death

Recently On Behold, The One:
Adrian attacks Celestine in her sleep, much to her shock, and leaves her with a stab on the shoulder. Upon figuring this out, the king has given Celestine the honor of killing Adrian in the arena the next day. Celestine trains hard, bracing herself, knowing that it won't be an easy battle.

Chapter 26's Ending:
If this is what it takes to protect Alexander, I'll do it gladly.

   It was time. 10 AM. Celestine got into her battle gear, holding her sharpened sword in her hand. She poised herself, geting ready to strike. Adrian on the other hand, used another one of his collection of axes. Bracing herself, she summoned a shield on her left arm.

   Okay, at least I can't be sliced into pieces now. Celestine thought with sarcasm.

   "May the combat, BEGIN!" Commander Hurricane called, signalling the beginning of battle.

   Celestine striked first, using her sword with such strength that it formed gusts of wind which sent Adrian flying into the wall. He coughed blood, grabbing the undergrowth for all its worth. With his eyes looking like mirrors of silver, she could tell that he was starting to get angry. Acting fast, she chained him onto the nearby wall.

   Adrian yelped at the sudden action, wincing in pain as he did so. His fists were clenched so hard that it showed white. Why does the Royal family love to clench fists hard? Celestine thought, sighed as she tightened the chains holding Adrian.

   Taking her pause to his advantage, Adrian used his axe to free himself. He summoned a sword and charged at Celestine with full force. Immediately, she started to parry his attacks. To the king's surprise, she was extremely skilled. Her accuracy, agility and sharp attacks were all beyond his imagination. Even Commander Hurricane, her father himself, was surprised by her battle techniques.

   Adrian tried to use his attacks to attack Celestine side but she noticed and used her shield to block the attack. Transforming her shield into a whip, she flung the axe behind her. Each participant had three weapons so he had an axe, a sword and one last mysterious weapon. Celestine on the other hand, had shown all three weapons. Her sword, whip and shield. Okay, a shield was not an actual weapon but it was counted as one.

   Using her whip once again, Celestine flung Adrian into the same wall he had crashed into earlier. She chained him once again, taking his sword and destroying it with a single slash from the whip. I never knew she could fight so well with any other weapon other than a sword. Alexander pondered, amazed by her fighting skills.

   That was another weapon down, he had one more to go. This battle was going in Celestine's favour. The blocks from the wall had then collasped on Adrian, injuring him greatly. Out of the blue, he emerged with his last weapon. A gun. Holy snap. A gun! He started firing at Celestine, each shot with great accuracy. If it was a gun, he'd run out of bullets... right?

   She continued dodging, suddenly tensing in pain as one of the bullets shot her right leg. Instantly, she hid behind her shield, preventing further injuries. I have to dodge as much as I can. Hope he runs out of bullets soon. Those things are deadly, since it did manage to pass through my battle gear, it must be very fast.

    Celestine got up, swiftly using her shield to give Adrian a push back. It pushed him backwards to the wall, making him clutch his stomach in pain. After that single attack, her shield vapourised, signalling that it had been destoryed. Celestine summoned her angel wings, surprised that she had a boost. The back of her wings was a sort of silver colour, as if it was armour.

    She then stopped hiding behind her shield, rising for the challenge. She let her huge wings case her in as she hid from his bullets. She spun around with great speed, reflecting every bullet that Adrian shot at her. Instead, his plan to continuously attack Celestine backfired. The five bullets he shot went back to him, hitting his arms and legs.

   He screamed in pain, dropping his gun on the floor. Using this chance, Celestine wrapped her whip around his gun and Adrian along with him, into another wall. The gun had vapourised, meaning that he had no weapons left. Celestine towered the weak man who was trembling in fear. She, knowing that he had tried to kill his loved ones, was furious. She spared him no mercy, stabbing her sword through his cruel heart.

   He still had a few hours to last. Nope, I'm not going to wait that long. Celestine thought angrilly, raising her bloodied sword once again. This time though, she swung her sword sharply from the left to the right, as if cuttinv something off. The king and queen let of gasps of shock as they saw the prince's head seperated from his body. Celestine just... beheaded Adrian? Alexander realised, shocked.

   Once that was done, Celestine left Adrian's cold body in the arena and walked up to the control room where the royal family was at. She unsummoned her whip and wings, walking into the room solemnly.

   "Your Majesties." She acknowledged solemnly, bowing respectfully.

   "Well, I did not expect Miss Celestine to be so skilled in battling." King Robert praised, much to Celestine's surprise.

   "Thank you, King Robert."

   She turned around to give Commander a sweet smile before turning back to the King and Queen.

   "I shall take my leave, my king."

   With that, Celestine swiftly walked back to her room, still in her battle gear. Adrian's dead now. Nothing can harm Alexander, or at least I hope. When she entered her room, Electra and Oceana were there along with Gaia. Celestine was surprised to see all of them present.

   "Oh! Hello Oceana, Electra and Gaia. What a... surprise." Celestine acknowledged their presence as she hid her sword behind her.

   She unsummoned it just before the others saw, much to her relief. Electra though, was more observant.

   "Celestine! What happened to you and why is there trail of blood behind you?" She asked, paranoid.

   Celestine jumped, looking behind her to see a thin stream of blood. She ignored the question, taking her battle gear off to reveal her casual blue tee and black leggings. She hung the gear onto a hanger and into her closet as she took a bandage, tweezer and medication from her drawer. Now why does she need a tweezer? Gaia thought, confused.

   Celestine used the tweezer to remove the bullet from her right leg, making her tense up in pain. She bit back a scream which was very hard to keep in. After, she applied some anticeptic cream on her wound and wrapped a bandage around it. She ignored the trio's questions and help due to her exhaustion. Once disposing the bullet properly, she kept the cream and tweezer away back in its drawer. She sighed heavilly, lying back on her bed. Reluctantly, she finally chose to answer Electra's question.

   "You did what?!" They shrieked, obviously shocked.

   "That was something I did to protect the royal family. If he could harm Alexander, he needs to be killed." Celestine stated once again, sighing.

    Alexander is safe and that is all that matters. With that, she drifted to sleep peacefully.
