We learn something new everyday...
---------------------------------------------------------Alexander stood there in his suit on the platform under the dim light of the coronation hall. Celestine stood next to him in a ball gown, smiling sweetly. Finally, coronation day.
"Prince Alexander Blaze, do you, promise to protect and rule your kingdom?"
"I promise."
"And Miss Celestine Stardust, do you, promise to protect and rule your kingdom alongside Prince Alexander?"
"I promise."
King Robert then took the king's crown off his head and placed it on Alexander's proudly, giving him a manky hug. Queen Miranda walked up to Celestine, placing the queen's tiara on her head. Currently, they were wearing a crown and tiara as well. Except, not the king and queen crown. The crown and tiara as the king's parents, that is.
"On this very day, January the 1st, I pronounce you as King Alexander and Queen Celestine of the Sky Elemental Kingdom."
The audience roared in applause. Alexander and Celestine bowed in acknowledgement, smiling brightly.
It then got to lunch time in the ballroom. Buffet for the whole kingdom! The loving couple then make their way to the ballroom.
"How has your day been, King Alexander?" Celestine teased, opening the ballroom doors.
"Splendid!" He replied with a british accent, making both of us laugh hysterically.
They sat on a table for two, sharing a delectable french duck. It was served in some sort of thick sauce which matched perfectly with the taste of the salty duck.
"Even the mushroom soup is tasty." Celestine commented calmly, as if reading Alexander's thoughts.
After the meal, they drank some champagne before going to the dance floor. They were dancing peacefully until one of the walls suddenly crashed open. Soldiers in the Celestial Kingdom's attire were attacking the people in the ballroom. The guests and the royals. So much for party
crashers...Instantly, Celestine transformed into her Archangel mode and used her large wings to shield herself and Alexander.
"Alexander, listen to me."
He nodded warily, wrapped his arms around Celestine's.
"When you reach the exit, go to the soldiers and let them protect you. Don't act like the hero either. Just focus on staying alive." Celestine ordered sternly, not waiting for Alexander's reply as she spun them to the enterance.
She then opened her wings and let Alexander down.
"Go, NOW!" Celestine commanded, summoning her sword as she charged into the ballroom, which was then a battlefield.
She sliced the air gracefully, poisong herself before taking the soldiers down all by herself. Much to the commander's surprise, Celestine had took all of his best soldiers down in the matter of seconds.
All that was down to now was Celestine, the queen, and the battle commander of the Celestial Kingdom. The commander held his sword with great skill, giving Celestine the hint that she should change her weapon.
She brought out her staff, then confidently poising herself before the opposing commander. His eyes widened, giving Celestine the perfect chance to defeat him. To her dismay, he stabbed through her as she tried to cast a bannishing spell. Maybe I should have trapped him first... She fumed as she clutched her side. At that very moment, soldiers came rushing in as they distracted the enemy. It was about time. Perfect timing though.
Using her stardust magic, Celestine trapped the commander in chains. She then walked up to him sternly, ignoring the pain from her injury.
"By the power of the Sky Archangel Staff, I bannish the evil of the Celestial Kingdom from the Sky Elemental Kingdom!" She chanted boldly, making the bodies of the Celestial Kingdom disappear.
Just when she thought she could find Alexander and assure him that she was safe, pain from the wound at her side kicked in and reminded her that she was injured. In a split second, she fell onto the floor, winking out.
Commander Hurricane, who had just reached the scene, gasped in shock as he ran towards her. He then carried her to the Medic Wing.
Openning the door was a worried Oceana who gasped at the sight.
"Why are both the new king and queen injured today? It had to be today of all days..." She muttered as she lay Celestine on a bed and disinfected her wound with the familiar brown liquid.
"Alexander is injured as well?" Commander Hurricane questioned, worried yet doubtful.
"Well, thanks to Celestine's quick thinking, not as bad. He could be dead if not for Celestine. Although, he does have a stab wound on his shoulder." Oceana updated as she wrapped the bandage around Celestine's side.
"Alexander got injured?!" Celestine shrieked, sitting up almost immediately but lowering her body due to the excruciating pain of her wound, as usual.
Oceana and Commander Hurricane jumped upon her sudden reaction, then suppressing a laugh.
"Woke up the moment you found out he was injured didn't you?" Commander Hurricane teased, he and Oceana then cracking up laughing.
"Excuse me but he has a stab wound on his shoulder. This is not the time for teasing!"
Upon hearing her request, Oceana and Commander Hurricane laughed even harder. Celestine grumbled, getting off the bed as she went to look for Alexander. They think it is funny because they do not know the urgency of this situation. Celestine, calm down. Don't curse. Remember, don't curse... He's going to be alright! Oceana has already treated to his wounds now hasn't sh-?
Her thoughts were cut off when she bumped into something, or someone...
Stupid palace people can't watch where they are goi-
"Oh my god!"
Wait... that voice is very familiar... Scarilly familiar. Celestine turned around slowly, plastering a fake smile on her face.
"If it isn't the emotionless tom boy Celestine? What a surprise! You are all so feminine now, a queen in fact! Perhaps I was right and you weren't. You did change to become a lovely woman. Surely you already gave up on fighting have you not?"
"Yes, I have..." Celestine growled sarcastically, finding her way to Alexander when Jessica added something which made her blood boil.
"Well of course, I will always be the champion of the battlefield. In fact, my husband is the best of the best. You will never win me or him."
You, the best? Hah, in your dreams!
