~Chapter 21~ Gift Choices

Recently On Behold, The One:
The five set off from the Floral Tribe and set a course for the Jewel Empire. On their way, Celestine turns the last group of fallen angels back to pure angels and explained the situation to the other four, answering their questions. Finally, they reach the Jewel Empire after the three hour flight.

Chapter 20's Ending:
"Your visit has been granted."

   Everything seemed so dreamy. No monsters, no bad guys, no enemies, nothing that would go against the five. It was like, ehem, sunshine and rainbows. Innocently peaceful. That is not bad, but sort of boring. Gaia thought, scanning the landscape as they toured the place. Soon after, they found the Jewel Empire Royal family.

   Celestine used her title and her status to get the gang permission to meet the Queen, Princesses and Prince of the Jewel Empire. The king had died recently, which was a very sad event. Celestine paused for one moment, snapping her fingers briefly.

   The five's outfits were all transformed into dark shades of black. This was to show respect to the Late King, of course. Looks like Celestine pays attention to even the tiniest details... Oceana concluded mentally as her long crystal blue dress was transformed into a dull black sundress.

   "Good Morning Queen Amber, Princesses Jade, Rose and Prince Ahren." The five greeted in unison, bowing solemnly.

   The queen was a tall figure. She had hair which was long and straight, dark orange and light pink in colour. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of yellow, something she gave to her children. Jade was the older one, playful but immature. She was 13 that year, making Celestine and the others older. She had dark green and black hair which looked like his father's and it was long and straight, like her mother's. Her green eyes do remind the queen of the King's eyes, however.

   Rose was the younger one who was 11 that year. It was true that she is younger, but she is way more friendly to her close ones and classmaes. Her pink hair was from Amber, the eyes from her as well. The only difference is the fact that Rose is younger than Jade and is more beautiful. Last but not least, Ehren. He was a charming lad who had maroon coloured hair and yellow eyes. The royal family of the Jewel Empire are deeply respected.

   Celestine, Alexander and the other trio bowed before the Jewel Empire's Royal family, signalling their respect and sincere consolance. Amber smiled sadly, thanking the five for their charity.

   "Welcome back to the Jewel Empire. I see you have brought the Prince from the Elemental Kingdom and your friends along?" Amber welcomed, asking Celestine teasingly, as if they were friends.

   "Yes, yes I have Queen Amber." Celestine replied solemnly, bowing as she did so.

   Amber had a worried look on her face, which was very shocking. Why would she look worried when Celestine said that? Alexander fumed, curious.

   "Jade, Rose and Ehren. Could you play with Celestine's friends in the gardens?" Amber asked sweetly.

   The children reluctantly agreed, dragging Oceana, Gaia and Electra along. Alexander was about to leave too when Celestine dragged him back. Looks like Amber was not refering to him when she talked to her children.

   Noting Celestine's gesture, it answered one of Amber's questions.

   "Ah, I see. Now I know why you came. I suppose Robert wants you to get something doesn't he?" Queen Amber teased Alexander, acknowledging his presence.

   He lowered his head, nodding in reply. This gesture surprised Queen Amber. She laughed sweetly, bringing his chin higher with her index finger.

   "Alexander dear, you need not be so formal with me. You can just call me Aunt Amber if you like." Amber amberssured him, much to Alexander's surprise.

   Celestine heaved a sigh of relief upon knowing the fact that Amber and Alexander got along well. Recalling something she heard, Amber decided to bring up the topic.

   "I heard about the dance, and the duel, and the mini date." Amber started making Alxeander and Celestine blush crimson red.

   A playful smirk played on Amber's lips as she continued questioning the duo about their relationship.

   "We haven't actually acknowledged each other as girlfriend and boyfriend... That would be way too rushed since we have only known each other for three weeks." Celestine explained, Alexander nodding in agreement.

   Amber smiled, gesturing that we follow her as she led us somewhere. Minutes later, the trio was before two huge golden doors. Using the magic from the gem on her royal staff, Amber opened the gates, revealing a huge treasure room.

   Alexander's jaw dropped, much to Celestine's surpise. As in, sure she was also surprised by the tall ceilings and wide hallways of the Treasure Room but is that not what every royal family has? Well, she did not know that the Elemental Kingdom does not have that much jewellery, considering the fact that they focus on magic.

   "This, is the Royal Treasure Room. Our one here in the Jewel Empire is the world's biggest ever!" Amber introduced enthusiastically as she gave the duo a tour around.

   "Here are blocks A,B and C. I'm giving you this honor of choosing one thing to present to the king from theae blocks. Treasure this opportunity, I did not give Adrian such a chance." Amber continued as she led Alexander and Celestine to the respective blocks.

   What would the king like? Value. He wants something special. Royalty have gold, silver and whatsoever, but the Jewel Empire has Gems. Jewels! King Robert would probably like something with jewels on it. Celestine pondered, sharing her thoughts with Alexander.

   Almost immediately, the duo sprung into action, handling the items with care but swiftly at the same time. Celestine scanned Block C, trying to find the special things she found earlier during the tour. We already have a Celestial Gem Baton, a jewel baton would be a terrible idea. We also have the Rainbow Iris Garland already... to add on we have the Sky Pearl and the Sky Angel Feather.

   Of all the things we could get, our choice had to be limited to one.
