~Chapter 30~ Wedding Crasher

Recently On Behold, The One:
Celestine settles the last bit of her weddig plans before going for some battle training. It was then when King Roberts shares that the royal family of the Jewel Empire will attend the wedding. They have a ball to celebrate, much to Celestine's surprise.

   -Friday-

   Alexander woke up the moment his alarm clock rang. He wore his suit quickly, clearly excited for the day. He washed up, rehearsing his lines. He straightened his red bow tie and put his sleek black jacket on. Wearing his jet black shoes and styling his short hair, he walked to the dining hall.

   When he reached the dining hall, the usual people were there. King Robert, Queen Miranda, Gaia, Oceana, Electra and himself. Even Amber, Rose, Jade and Ehren were there. But Celestine wasn't. She was the bride, of course she wasn't! He could only see her when she walks down the aisle. He ate his western-styled breakfast at his average pace, savouring the food's flavour and taste.

   Then, he waited for the bridesmaids, his right hand man, flower girls and paige boy to proceed to the gardens. It was eight in the morning, one hour till the big event will start. Oceana, Crystalite and Electra snuck their way to the other room where Celestine was gettig ready. The dress looked even better than they had inagined. She looked simply stunning. Never in her life as she looked, or felt more beautiful than that exact moment.

   Oceana covered Celestine's face with the veil, smiling as she did so. Celestine slipped her feet into her heels as Crystalite, Electra and Oceana wore their bracelets.

   "I feel so happy for you Celestine! And some people thought you won't get married when you are going to right now!" Electra teased, laughing.

   "If I remember correctly, you guys were going to sing the chorus of 'Love The Way You Lie' while I walk the aisle?" Celestine teased, refering to Electra and Crystalite.

   Giggling, the duo started singing the tune. The lovely harmony was perfect for the joyful occasion. At that very moment, the time struck 9 AM and all the guests had arrived. Jade, Rose and Ehren had came as well to present me. Commander Hurricane was in his best suit and stood beside Celestine with tears of joy. His daughter was going to get married.

   Electra and Crystalite walked to the sides of the front part of the aisle where Alexander was and took the microphones. Noticing Oceana's signal, they started singing. Jade and Rose stood side by side, walking forward as they threw petals into the air before Oceana, Celestine and Commander Hurricabe.

   "Just gonna stand there and hear me cry, but that's alright because I love the way you lie. I love the way you lie." They continued singing as Oceana, Commander Hurricane and Celestine walked into the place.

   Alexander looked in awe as Celestine walked in. She was smiling brightly, joinning in the song. Once they reached the end of the aisle where Electra and Crystalite were at. Crystalite, Jade, Rose and Ehren stood beside them as Commander Hurricane handed Celestine over to Alexander.

   Everything seemed so fast as they sped through the proceedures, including the pledges.

   "I now pronounce you, husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

   At that very moment, Celestine and Alexander's eyes met. They smiled sweetly, crushing their lips onto each others'. Out of the blue, Alexander tensed up in her arms. The audience gasped sharply as the blade went through Alexander's back. He winced in pain, biting back a scream. Instantly, Celestine summoned her sword.

    She cut her dress shorter with it, letting the fabric down her knees fall on the floor. She looked up, instantly grabbing Alexander and flying off the platform. Once she brought him into his room, she let Oceana heal his stab wound as she went back to deal with the attacker. Turns out, it was Prince Justin of the Celestial Kingdom. I should have known...

   "So, expected a perfect wedding now did you? Well it ain't happening." He hissed, lunging at Celestine with his broadsword.

   "I won't let you ruin this day for us."

   Celestine got a whip and took his sword with ease. She broke it angrilly, pieces of its remains littered the ground behind her. At the sight, Justin's fists clenched so hard that his knuckles showed white as he brought out double daggers. Ugh, this again.

   She lunged at him with double swords, sparing him no mercy. She struck hard, slashing and stabbing with great speed. It went on for at least ten minutes of parrying and thrusting. To her shock, Justin managed to pin her onto the floor. He was about to jam his dagger into her heart when she disappeared into dust which went with the wind.

   He smirked, thinking that she had died. Alexander who had fully recovered was shocked, coming down with his fire sword. His eyes glowed in a brighter shade of amber orange, eyes flashing with rage.

   With two simple slashes of his sword, he caged Justin into a single fire cage. Instead of fear, he smirked and broke free easy. This time though, with a morning star weapon in his hand. Yikes! Alexander thought as he dodged the attack. While parryig Justin's attacks, Alexander started to tire out. I have to do something fast!

   At that very moment, a familar fierce voice spoke firmly. It was a bold one, one with rage.

   "This, is for ruining my wedding!" Celestine shouted as she stabbed Justin the chest.

   "This, is for trying to kill me," she continued, kicking him down onto the floor.

   "And this, is for trying to kill the man I devote my life to!" She declared, using her sword to chop Justin's head off.

   Her fists clenched, Celestine helped Alexander up. Her eyes shone bright silver, wings glowing bright, white light. Out of the blue, she flew upwards, disappearing shortly after. Alexander's eyes widened in shock as he did not find any stardust nearby. Celestine had just disappeared without informing him on wedding day...

   "W-where did she go?!"
