Chapter 10's Ending:
The king saved his life...
---------------------------------------------------------

The figure in the cage kneeled down, black wings being replaced with pure white ones. Her eyes glowed white before slowly turning back to normal.

Celestine unlocked her from the cage as she made a platform bed for the figure. Turning around, she finally noticed the four over there.

Irritated, she pushed the platform to Oceana, ordering her to stop the blood which gushed out of the figure's stomach.

"She's my mother. So please be gentle and careful." Celestine grumbled as she started fixed everything that was destroyed.

Well she's grumpy! Gaia fumed in disgust as he went to check on the figure. He saw the figure's pale lips and fair complexion. The figure had long and straight blonde hair, looking nothing like Celestine's red hair. She was smiling in her sleep, much to Oceana's confusion.

Out of the blue, Electra screamed.

"What do you mean by they are all gone?!" She demanded in fuatration.

When she heard the response, she scoffed sarcastically.

"What? They just disappeared into thick black smoke and turned back to pure angels?" Electra questioned in annoyance.

"YES!" The answer screamed through the phone, making the figure jump up from the platform.

She whimpered in pain as she felt the bandage covering her wound. Shocked to see total strangers surrounding her, she held out her gun, threatening to shoot.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa... Slow down mother!" Celestine teased as she walked up to the figure.

"These are my friends. Gaia, Oceana, Electra and Alexander." Celestine introduced to her mother.

She was perfectly fine until she heard the name Alexander. She flinched and shot the bullet at Alexander almost instantly. Shocked by her reflexes, Celestine spun before him, using her shield to block the bullet. In the end, it simply shot the ground.

"Mother. This is my friend. He means no harm."

"No harm? His father killed your father!"

   "No he did not!"

"Yes he did! If not who killed him?!"

"NOBODY DID!" Celestine screamed, shocking the figure whom Celestine called her mother.

The figure stayed silent, staring blankly at Celestine. Then her eyes softened as her face changed to look sympathic.

"I know you miss him, but this is the harsh truth." Celestine's mother conforting, giving her a pat on the back.

"Mom, I am not avoiding the harsh truth. I am avoiding a harsh lie! Father is alive!" Celestine spat, clearly annoyed.

   "R-really? Then I need proof."

"I learnt all my swordfighting skills from him! He has always been talented in fighting as you know."

Diana was astonished, her jaw hung wide open as her eyes widened.

"Are you talking about Commander Hurricane? Because if you are, he is the best!" Alexander exclaimed enthusiastically as he approached the duo.

"Wait, you know Hurricane?" Diana questioned, raising her right eyebrow.

"Of course I do! He taught me all I have to know about swordfighting! He was the best teacher I could ever have!" Alexander exclaimed.

"So can you please, stop trying to kill anyone from the Elemental Kingdom Royal Family?" Celestine pleaded, surprising Diana.

"I promise." Diana finally replied, hugging Celestine.

Oceana gave Celestine a wink while Gaia and Electra smiled brightly. Alexander on the other hand, looked confused.

Celestine faced Alexander, noticing the confusion in Alexander's eyes. She mouthed the words 'I'll tell you later' in Alexander's direction, calming him down.

Celestine brought Diana into one of the houses that she already fixed and tucked her in for it already sunset. Time flew by quickly during the battle.

She walked out, relieved that she could finally talk loudly without waking her mother. Celestine dragged Alexander with her into the nearby Sky Gardens, astonishing Alexander.

"Okay, now, let me tell you everything." Celestine started as she launched into a long story which started about ten years ago.

She was careful to tell everything, not leaving a single detail about the matter untouched or untold. Between situations, Alexander's eyes widened and relaxed before widening again. It was really a thrilling experience.

"So that was what happened..." Alexander muttered in understanding as he took in all the information.

"Sorry about that. My mother can, uhm, easily jump into conclusions. She even tried to shoot a bullet at you simply in order to get her revenge on your father. Worst of all, she could have avoided all this if she would have just got the facts right..." Celestine apologised, clearly annoyed.

Alexander looked blankly at Celestine before shaking his head.

"It's okay. It was not you fault anyway." He comforted Celestine with a grin that played on his lips.

The duo looked at the dark night sky. Celestine leaned on Alexander's shoulder, much to his surprise.

"It is seven at night, maybe we should go for dinner." Celestine suggested, lifting her head.

"Good idea! Boy am I starving!" Alexander teased as they made their way back to the tribe.

Upon reaching the tribe, it was already seven thirty and everyone had finished their dinner. All except Celestine and Alexander who had just arrived, that is.

The duo simply got a sandwhich each and started eating. They did not really care how it tasted, they were simply too hungry to care about that.

Upon finishing their sandwhiches, they took a glass of juice and drank it. Alexander chose carrot juice while Celestine stuck with her favourite orange juice.

Celestine looked at Alexander, laughing hysterically as she did so. Alexander stared in confusion.

   "What's so funny?"

Celestine got a piece of tissue and rubbed off the remains of the ketchup on Alexander's right cheek. He flushed uncontrollably, unable to hide his embarassment. It was just the two of them though, so why was he so embarrassed?

"To think you could actually eat sloppy!" Celestine teased, winking at him as she left him to proceed to her room.

After that long day, Celestine decided to have a quick shower before turning in early.

Finally I found my real mother.
