-Dez POV-

The door clicked. I hid, thinking it was my mother. Nope. Just Reece. With wings. She looked amazing. Reece wore a red and gold sweater. With blue skinnies. And her camera, All matching her gold wings. I stood up, feeling ashamed at my messy living. "Need help?" She asked, don't-care written in her voice. Before I answered, she started picking up broken glass. "NO! It's okay." I exclaimed. "It's okay. All I bleed is art." She muttered, still cleaning. Huh? Reece never asked any question, only hummed. Greg raise an eyebrow at her. She just grinned. I was wiping down the television. She was fluffing the pillows. Greg was watering the plants, when our drunk mother stumbled in. Our eyes darted to Reece, whom was smiling, warmly. "Mrs. Mass, guess what Mr. Mass left for you?" Reece asked. Our mother snarled, "What? Divorce paper? That bastard!" Reece shook her head, "An amazing green dress. And a necklace with real jewels." Mother smiled, a little. "Come see it, right in there!" Reece pointed to the closet. What she planning? When our mother opened the door, Reece pushed her in the closet. "Get a chair." She barked. Greg obeyed. Afterwards-while our mother banged on the door- Reece let out a breathe and continued cleaning. "How'd you know what to do?" Greg asked. "A friend's mom used to do that to her boyfriend, when she was tired." Reece explained. Her voice said 'No questions'. So there weren't any. Reece smiled, "What cha doing for Winter Break?" I shrugged. "Working. Or making sure our parent don't get arrested." Greg shrugged. Reece looked thoughtful, "That's why Claire doesn't like them." We nodded.

•Third Person

Reece decided to make her Decision. Ciara or Johnny. After staying up all night,- picking flower petals, flipping coins, and rock-paper-scissoring (plus the four nights Prior)- she had chosen. Ciara. Proud, she told Jalex. "Perfect choice!" But what if she doesn't like? What if she says no? What if she says yes and it doesn't work out? Jalex used a trick he learned from Claire. He flicked Reece's forehead. "How you gonna ask her?" He asked, before she remembered her problem. "I'm going to make her a giant teddy graham, with the words on its stomach." She got up. "Where you going?" Jalex asked. "To make the cookie. By the way, I want to get on the Internet. Will you help me?" Reece shrugged. Jalex nodded and grabbed her iPad.

Reece adjusted her glasses, before entering school. Jalex was carrying her cookie, as he went over Internet safety rules. Reece nodded along. "Who's the cookie for?" Marshall asked. Reece shrugged. Not willing to tell, in case something went wrong. "I'm going to find Ciara okay?" Reece grinned. They shrugged. The hallway stopped. "Here she comes!" Tony, a quarterback, whispered into a walkie. "Ciara, can you help me with this acting scene?" Melanie asked, handing her a sheet. Ciara smiled, "Sure, Mel." Ciara read it over a couple of times. "Ready?" Mel asked. Ciara nodded. Troy started recording. "Ciara...I really like you!" Mel stuttered, caught sight of Reece in the corner of her eye. Reece leaned against the wall, patiently waiting for their conversation to end. Ciara faked a smile, "I like you, too, Mel!" She rubbed the back of her neck, "Will you be my girlfriend?" Mel squealed and nodded. Ciara stepped forward, and putted a hand on her hip. Before kissing her. Reece held back a sob. She stuffed the cookie in the trash. Of course she doesn't like you, Reece snarled at herself. You're ugly and short and stupid. And you look like an escaped Oompa Loompa, too. Reece insulted herself even more as she walked to find her brother. "She likes Melanie." She blurted out, as soon as she found her brother. Jalex hugged her. "And if you don't mind, I'll see if Meep wants to hang out. Til, like, free period." Reece said, grabbing her wallet, phone, iPod, and skateboard. Reece dialed Jeremy's number. "Hey, are you busy, today? *Pause* Yes, it is Reece. AKA shortie with curls. *Pause* I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out? *Pause* Cool! Meet me at the mall. *Pause* Bye." Reece hung up. "I'll tell the guys, you didn't feel well." Jalex muttered. Reece nodded, skating away.

Meanwhile, when the coast was clear, Troy zoomed in on the cookie. The words were still clear. Then sent it to everyone, but The Neverland Kids. The school may paid more attention to them then the populars, but they're still second to bottom of the pyramid.
