*Dez's POV

I picked up my phone. "What do you want?" I asked, not caring who it was. "Hey, Dezzy. Don't freak out, I just have this bad feeling. And I was wondering if you could check up on Reece?" Alvin asked. "Okay, sure." I said, getting up. "Thanks, bye." He hung up.

I hit the bell. "Sorry, we're closed!" Joanna called. "I work here!" I called back, "Plus I came to pick Reece up!" Joanna poked her head out of her office door. "I haven't seen her for about thirty minutes. She went to take out the thrash." She stated. "Okay, I'll go check out back!" I smiled, waving. I walked out the back door, using my phone as a flashlight. "Reece?" I called out. I heard a groaned. "Reece?" I called out, trying to find the source. Another groan. Finally, I found the source. She wouldn't let me touch and keep saying, "Ambulance."

-Some hours later-

"She has three cracked ribs and one broken one. All on the same side. Her fibula is severely broken. She's lost a lot of blood. And we had barely enough for the surgery. But we hope her body will start producing blood naturally, soon. The rest of her injuries

"The surgery went fantastic, but she seemed to have fallen into a coma." The doctor stated. "How long will she have to wear a cast?" I asked. "Five to nine weeks." He said. "How long will she be in the hospital?" Christen, one of Valentino's older brother, asked. "Hard to tell." He answered. Then, left the waiting room. Tino started getting up, muttered he needed a cig and some coffee. But Vinny- They all flew here- pushed him back down and sat on his lap, muttering no. Diego, his oldest brother, muttered something about Valentino only listening to Alvin. I laughed at that. He sent me a grin.

*Reece's POV

White. I despite the color. I looked around, hoping I wasn't back at the skinny home. "April, over here!" I gasped, then turned around so quickly. "Rector!" I squealed, squeezing him so tight. He hugged me back. "Not that I'm happy to see you, but where are we?"I asked, looking around. "Purgatory." He said. I cocked my head to the side. "The middle." He explained. I nodded, showing I understood. "Why?" I asked. He sighed, "You're in a coma. And, to get back your world, you'll have a complete a trial." What if I don't want to go back to my world, I thought. Then remember he's Rector. He's picks up on my emotion and thoughts like....I don't know. Where's Vale when you need a metaphor? He hugged me. "I know it's hard. But it's not your time, alright?" He whispered. "Alright. What's the trail?" I asked, trying to pull away. But he held me tighter. "You have to let everyone go." I finally broke free. "No. No! I can't! I need them! They need me! I can't! No!" I was so close to hysterically sobbing. "You do not need. They can't keep protecting you from reality, April Louise!" He stated. "Why the fuck not?" I swore. Rector's eyes narrowed, "Do not use the language with me!"

"Oh! What else can't I do? Huh? I can't swear! I can't use my personalities! I mean, in orders to use them, I HAVE TO HAVE THEM!"

"I know this is hard. But arguing and being a bratty bitch isn't going to help!"

"O so, I'm a bratty bitch, now?"

"You're acting like one." A hand laid on each if our shoulders. "April Louise," I looked up to meet my father's eyes, "Arguing with your brother isn't going to make your problem go away.

"And, Rector, letting your baby sister distracted wasn't very smart on your part, either!" He turned back to me. "You still have a long way in front of you. This won't last forever. Now, please stop arguing with your brother." He commanded, lightly. I nodded, taking a deep breathe. "What do I do?"
