Captain Hook smiled. Then, a man appeared. Their father, I guess. He had "Rector, are you almost done?" He asked, nicely. "Almost. But, will you finish up? Please?" Rector pleaded. Their father nodded, and turned to me, smiling. I returned it. "Ciara, once you return, you won't remember most of this. But when Reece is ready, you will. Until then, this will come in flashes and tidbits." He explained. I nodded. "Goodbye, Ciara." Rector waved. Then, I was pulled into a hug, by both.

My lungs tried to take in, as much air, as they could. I repeated the action. A nurse rushed in, and coached me on calming my breathing. My mouth was dry, with a bitter taste, and body felt like shit. The nurse lifted my head, and gave me water, and a mint. "Would you like me to bring in your family?" She asked. I should've told her they aren't my family. I'm a orphan. That my mom died in a plane crash. My father died from liquor. My brother died from a coclussion he got playing football. And that, I'm only related to the little girl. But I didn't. Instead I nodded. 'My' family walked in my hospital room. Natalie came and laid on the bed. "Hi, Momma." She stated, tracing patterns in my Gown. The women took the bed side chairs. "Well, Ciara, you gave us all a great big scare!" Mrs. Artolwiski sighed. "I know! I'm sorry. I didn't mean, too. Everyone just got to me. And I snapped. I'm so so sorry!" I rambled on. Mrs. Benson grabbed my hand, "It's okay. Its also okay if you want to change school. I already have a few lined up." I shook my head, "That won't be necessary. Its my school, too. They've won this battle, but I want to win the war." TNK stepped forward, saluting, "We'll be your soldiers!" I smiled. "I'll help with tolerance level." Max grinned. "I'll teach you insults and comebacks." Dez smirked. "Dance is also used for combat!" Michael stated. "I'll teach you how to flip a Mitch!" Marshall laughed. "I'll help approve your dodging skills!" Jalex shrugged. "I will teach you mediation, and improve your poker face!" Reece giggled. I remember something, "Do any of you know what happened to my clothes?" I asked. Claire nodded, "Signed the release form." Mr. Benson spoke, "Ciara, there's Sometime we should tell you." Mrs. Benson nodded, "Yes, you don't have to go to therapy. But, you have to be kept under watch for two months. So, you can move in with us. Or Reece can move in with you." I spent more time at the Benson. And no at home beatings for two month. "Benson!" Everyone smiled. "Great! Because-since we didn't have the key to your house- your new clothes are already there!" Jalex explained. I laughed. "Can I stay there, too?" Natalie asked. Mr. Benson nodded. There was a knock. "Come in!" I called. Greg entered, "Dez, Mom wants up home!"Dez nodded, and unwilling left Michael's arms. "Bye, guys. See yous Tomorrow, after Ciar gets released. Kay?" Dez waved, leaving with his brother, who avoided eye contact with me. "We should go, too. Come on, Kids. I'll take you and Claire home, Mrs. Artolwiski." Papa Hopper said. "Why thank you, Daniel!" Mrs. A said, getting up. "Papa, may I stay, with Ciara and Natalie?" Reece asked. Papa Hopper nodded. The Bensons' left, too. Natalie was asleep. Reece smiled, "Our meetings is Saturday. Claire's is next Saturday, though. So, we have to come up names. Claire named hers 'The uptown Rebels and downtown gangsters'!" Reece laughed. "Do you have your name?" I asked. She shook her head, "But I've have three: Insanity's Kids, Art and Music, and Flamboyant tomboy. Whatda think?"

"The last one!"

"Now, what about you?"

"It was originally 'Geeks and Party-Animal', but I going to change it, so it matches the theme your-and Claire's. Uhm. Geeky Party-animal!" Reece smiled, before yawning. I echoed. "Night!" Reece smiled, curling up in a bedside chair. "Nighty bye!" I whispered.

•Next Day

(Third POV)

It was on that day Ciara Robinson broke. She had just been release, and was sitting in the Benson's living room. She couldn't tell you what triggered it. But Mrs. Benson walked in the second the first tear hit the ground. And that she held her, as she sobbed. Ciara clutched tightly to Mrs. Benson, not remembering the last time, she was held, by a mother. Let alone her own. Ciara realized everything wrong, with her life in the hour she cried. Your cries are the cries of an orphaned child. Fear not, I'll be your family, thought Mrs. Benson. Exhausted and depressed, Ciara feel asleep. Being comforted by Mrs. Benson's heartbeat. Upon carry Ciara to bed, Mrs. Benson realized how underweight the sleeping orphan was. I should make her a diet plan, Mrs. Benson thought, I'll make Reece one, too. Mrs. Benson tucked Ciara in, kissed her forehead, then left the room.

(Ciara's POV)

I was awaken to the sound of a piano. It was simple. About four notes. I opened my eyes. It was Reece. She was playing on her IPad. "You deserve to be a bird." I blurted out. Reece looked up, raising an eyebrow. She didn't look at me like I was crazy. Which I'm glad she didn't. if she did, I might have believed he. I continued rambling, "A mockingbird, to be except. Because they're innocent, and beautiful, and golden. They never do any one any harm. And-and only make music for humans. I reckon you're a mockingbird in human form.- Sorry that doesn't make sense." I frantically pounded my head for thoughts that made sense. Reece grabbed my hand and unclenched my fist. "I understand." She said, before laying next to me. "Maybe I'll get my wings, later." Yawn. "Until then, go to sleep. We have the concert, tomorrow." I dozed off.

-Dez POV-

I tried to hide the present, but Greg had already seen them. "What are those?"

"Presents,"

"From?"

"Stores,"

"Where'd you get the money?"

"A place,"

"What place, Dezward?"

"First, its Dez. Second, just a place."

"Not your savings account, right?"

"Maybe thirty percent was from there!" I mumbled, quietly. But Greg heard me. "You know you're not allowed to take money from there!"

"And YOU KNOW, you're not suppose to yell at me. I'm sensitive!"

"First, that card doesn't work any more. Second, I only yell because I care. And last, don't do that, again. Got it?" I nodded. He sighed, "Do you want help wrapping. I shook my head and pointed to his backpack. Greg knew what I meant. He sat on his bed, before pulling out rejected homework. Smiling, I continued wrapping. "I got a job. And did the math. So if I work six hours a week, We'll have enough money to sent Mom and Dad to rehab by Spring Break." I told him. "Okay, but don't let work interfere with your grades." he replied. I rolled my eyes. "Mrs. Artolwiski says we can stay with her. So, that means we can sell the house. And get mom and dad an apartment." I continued. "I'll find an apartment for them tomorrow. But it has Be under 400,000, or else, we can't buy it" Greg retored. By Spring Break, I thought. Greg and I shared grins.
