-Jeremy POV-

When Reece called me, I hopped in my car as fast as I could. I drove to the park and walked to the big willow tree. "Reece?" I called out. "Yes!" Her voice soft and still trembling. "Where are you?" I asked. "Up! Look up." So, I did. I saw her small outline perched up, on a high branch. Reece threw her board down. Then, She started climbing down, herself. Reece made it look like the easiest thing in the world. Once she was down, I hugged her. After ten minutes, we walked back to my truck. "Can I ride in the back?" asked Reece. I nodded. She climbed in the back. "Ready?" I asked. She tapped the roof in response. Driving, I could hear her delighted squeals or her singing along to the radio. Even though, the ride was only fifteen minutes long, but Reece's face changed. "You can spend the night and borrow some of Marshall's pjs. You can tell me what happened tomorrow." I said, unlocking the front door. She smiled. I smiled, back.

Is that bacon I smell? Only one way to find out. I rolled out of my bed and stumbled to my kitchen. Only to find Mia fixing breakfast and Reece on the phone. "Morning, sleepyhead." Mia pecked my cheek, handing me breakfast. Reece waved. I sat next to her. I could hear him yelling at her and her quiet response. After they hung up, I asked why was he yelling at him. "Because it's not easy for him to express being concerned." Reece replied. Someone knocked at the door. It was Jalex and Marshall. Jalex handed her a bag. She left and returned. "She looks like an hipster." Mia stated. Marshall shrugged, "Bri picked it out. And she waiting outside." Reece put on her AirWalks. The shoe brand of Reece Hopper. "Kay, let's go." She smiled. "Reece, we still on for later?" I asked. She nodded. "What's going on later?" Marshall asked. "We going camping!" Mia squealed. "Where?" Lex asked. "My living room!" She continued. Reece patted their cheeks, "It's called improve, kids." We laughed, while Jalex and Mars shrugged it off. Reece was hesitant at the door. Everyone noticed. "Hey, I think you need to clean out your closet, reorganize your room and work on your collection. Right?" Marshall asked, knowing she wants an excuse to skip and that she really needs to organize her closet. Reece nodded, shooting him a grateful smile. They left. "How's college, babe?" Mia asked. I smiled, "Great, but I can't wait for Spring Break trip!" Mia nodded, "I can't wait for our trip, either." We smiled at each other.

Small talk became a routine. More like full blown conversations. So did him helping me with my homework. But, I'd alway come downstairs to him smirking. Except the days I walk downstairs to find him listening to the cd player I found. Singing Taylor Swift off pitch and off key and dancing. "Spring break starts tomorrow." I smiled. Alvin rolled his eyes. "I know, your brothers have been more 'excited' later." He smirked. "Why do they always come up piss or upset?" I asked. "Because I kiss back." He stated, simply. "Oh, well, you don't have to worry about them for the next couple of days." I said. "What'd are ya doing for spring break?"

"Not much. My brothers are going to a lake house with some of their friends."

"Do you at least have plans?"

"Yeah. One every other day."

"Great! Do I get clothes while they're gone?"

"Not only that, but- if you promised not to run away- you get to leave this room."

"Really?"

"Yeah, but you can't tell my brothers.

" Okay, when are they leaving?"

"Three in the morning. They wanna get there early so they can clean up. Before their friends get there."

"Are they already asleep?"

"Yeah. Here." I pulled a pair of his boxer out my back pocket. The look of his face was priceless. He hugged me, after he put them on. I blushed. "Sorry." He muttered. "It's okay…You're just really warm!" I smiled. Inside and outside. "That explains it." He gasped. "What?" I asked. "Why Summers and Vale alway put me in the middle." He said. I would, too. "I'll bring your clothes down after they leave." I said, before locking the door.

Alvin held his arms out in the gentle rain. "Everyone makes the rain feel so sad. But I think the rain is God trying to wash everyone's soul, at once." He said, gently. I smiled. "Come on." I said. "You still haven't told me where we're going." He stated, eyes still closes. "To the movies. Then, we're going to Alabama."

"When we leaving?"

"After the movie."

"Okay, let's go, then." I put our suitcases in the truck.
