•Dez's POV

I pretend to look at drum sticks as Michael flirted with an employee. The eighth girl so far today. In reality, I was looking at her.

Small waist

Thigh gap

Her figure was "soft". I started looking at her face.

Green eyes.

Pink, Cupid's bow lips

Light brown hair. We kinda looked alike, I thought. The voice in my head laughed. You're hilarious! Serious, you think she looks like you?

Never mind, I was just being stupid.

You can't afford to be stupid, Dez. If you want people to like you, you need to have as many good aspects as possible. Understand?

I understand.

Good. I only want what's best for you.

I know.

Now, you didn't throw up your breakfast.

I know. I didn't get the chance. Michael just-

Everything's just about Michael, isn't it? It snapped. I winced. It continued, Michael this. Michael that! New flash, Dez! He's straight. Michael likes girls. Pretty, skinny girls. You are the opposite. An ugly, fat BOY! Dez, even if he was gay, why would like you? When there are so many hot gay guys in your school? Tell me why, Dez!

I...I don't know.

See, luckily for you, I have a plan.

What type of plan?

A 'Get Over Michael' plan. First, cut him off. Second, get a new crush. Lastly, try to date the person. Mary, from film club, seems like a great choice.

Okay. When do I start?

Now. Tell him we have to leave. Then head to the bathroom.

Okay.

I walked over to them. "Michael, I have to go." I lied. "Really?" He asked. "Yeah! Bye." I Started walking away. "Kay, see ya tomorrow!" Michael called. As I pasted the pizzeria, some one called my name. I turned around. It was Reece. "Hey. I thought you were baking." I smiled. "I finished. Thought you were hanging out with Michael." She laughed. "I was but he hit it off with some girl. And I didn't want to intruded." I shrugged. "Oh! So what are you doing now?"

"Heading home and packing."

"You're moving?"

"Yeah. My parents are going to rehab. And we're moving in with Mrs. Artolwiski."

"Oh. Want help?"

"Umm...sure!"

"Cool. Are you guys just taking your personal or..."

"Just our personal stuff. And the furniture in our rooms. Everything else stays." Reece nodded. "Alright, let's do this!" She smiled.

We were finished in less than an hour. So I asked Greg if he wanted me to pack his clothes. He replied, 'If you want to.' Despite Reece's crazy-random-artist vibe, she was actually really great at organization. Not to mention, fast at packing. "Do you need help getting to Mrs. Artolwiski's house?" She asked. I shook my head. "Greg and I are gonna do that tomorrow." I smiled, "But thanks." She flashed me a grin. "I made you some cupcakes. And a piece of cake." She said, "Bring your own dish though." I laughed, getting up, "Alright! Any other plans for today?"

"Yeah, I'm gonna go hang out with some friends later. You wanna come?"

"Nah, I'm cool."

"Are my friends not good enough?" Reece teased. "No, no. It's just that I'm really awkward around people I don't know. Unless I'm drunk." I explained. "Then, start drinking because you're coming any way!" Reece laughed, "We leave in an one hour."

Alvin squealed. "O my gosh, you're Greg's little brother! Vale, look! He's Greg's little brother!" He exclaimed. "Vale" looked up, from his phone, with disinterested look. "The photographer?" He asked. When Alvin nodded, he looked me up and down, "I thought he'd be like twelve...and short." Reece laughed. "He's fifteen and tall!" She stated. "Just because he's taller than you doesn't make him tall." He replied. "And just because he's short than you doesn't mean he's short." She shot back.

"I never said that."

"But you implied it."

"Lesi-honest, I don't imply anything."

"Suuuuuuuure." Reece scoffed. "What's that 'pose to mean?" Valentino growled. "I don't know! You tell me." She snarled, back. "You both need to calm down!" Alvin said. They both sat back down. Reece sipped her smoothie. "Moving on! What are you doing for your sweet sixteen, Valentino?" She asked. "Stephanie and Marie found out I was turning sixteen and not throwing a party. So they're throwing me one." He shrugged. "And you're going?" Reece gasped. He nodded, "And you're all invite! Wear something nice but casual." Tino dug in his backpack. And, eventually, pulled out three invitations. I was passed two. "Would you see if Greg can make it?" He asked. "Sure." I replied. "So what are you guys doing today, though." Alvin groaned. "We could to the movies!" I said. "Or we could watch Supernatural!" Vale grinned. "If we're watching anything that could ruin Dez's life, we have to watch Merlin!" Reece smiled. "Ruin my life?" I echoed. "No worries, young Dezzy; there will be tons of fanfiction and fanart to fill your needs!" Valentino laughed. I'm scared. "Is it okay if we come over?" Alvin asked. "I'll have to ask Greg." I replied.

-Around thirteen hours-

I looked Vale dead in the eyes and asked, "You have season two, right?" He nodded, laughing a little bit. Why is he laughing? I'm fudging serious. Alvin, who was half-sleep, got up and stretched. Then sat back down. Reece readjusted herself, so she was more comfortable on our laps. "You guys wanna sleep over?" Greg asked. He joined around episode seven. "Sure!" Alvin yawned. Valentino shrugged, "We have to call our brothers, first." After listening to a coversation, in a language I didn't understand, he hung up. "They said we could stay the night." Tino said. He paused for a moment, "Can someone lift Reece up?" Greg easily picked her up, so Valentino and I could stand up. "Dez, she sleeping in your bed. Alvin and Tino, you guys can take my bed. I'll take the couch." He stated, carrying Reece upstairs, "I'll be back with pjs."
