Nathan's POV:

I don't understand how someone could abused you and you still care for them. Alvin has been staying in my room for a week. Each day, he asked if he could see Joshua. I alway said no. It hurt saying he couldn't see him because Alvin looked so sad. Then, he'd asked if Josh was mad at him. If Josh was still his boyfriend. If this was more punishment.

"Are you tired?" I asked, after seeing him yawn. "No." He muttered, yawning. I pulled him close to me. "But, Wild Kratts is coming on soon." He whined. "We'll watch it, later." I smiled, feeling him snuggle closer. "Promise?" He asked, already half asleep. "Yeah." I promised. After he fell asleep, I started thinking about ways to get his mind off Josh. Okay, he likes Wild Kratts and other kid shows. He also likes Say Yes to the Dress. But he mainly likes kid show. And acts like a kid. So treat him like a kid. I'll treat him like a kid. Toys, naps, bath times, and snacks. Shit! I have to buy him some snack. Maybe a pacifier and bottle. And some bath toys. But I wonder how long he'll be out. I took a risk. I left Alvin alone, locking my door of course.

Two risks in one day. Since Alvin was still asleep, I went to the attic, to look for old toys and storybooks. I guess Dad got rid of most of them, but I found six books and box of teddybears. I put the (washing-machine safe) teddybears in a washing machine. And went to run Alvin's bath. "'Thaniel?" He's awake. Shit! I walked back in the room. "Come here!" I said, opening my arms. He climbing in. "Where are we going?" Alvin asked. "Bath time." I stated, setting him on the toilet. Once Alvin was undressed and in the tub, I gave him some rubber ducks to play with. I somehow managed to give Alvin a bath without getting wet. And wash his hair without getting soup in his face or ears. I drained the tub and dried Alvin off. Then, brushed his hair. I picked Alvin up again. "What do you want to wear?" I asked, after putting on his boxers. Alvin snuggled farther into the covers. "M'fine." He muttered. I sighed. "You have to wear something so we can go get dinner." I said. "Don't wanna!" Alvin pouted. "I'll give you some time to think!" I sighed, "I'll be back." I went to put the toys in the dryer. Then, I manage to wrestle him into a hoodie and a sweatpants. "I want McDonald's!" He groaned, in the car. "That's not healthy." I replied. "But, Thaniel, I want a burger!" He whined. I sighed, turning into the McDonald's lot. Alvin squealed. "What do you want?" I asked.

The first day was a success. Alvin took everything great. Not noticing I was treating him more like a kid, than usual.

•Reece's POV

What'd you let them do to you? My mirror screamed. I covered my ears. That didn't stop it. "I don't know. Okay? I just don't know!" I screamed back. I was home alone. No one was there to save me from my own insanity. So I saved myself. I walked to the attic. Found my old, favorite shirt, pants and boxers. Along with all my old products. I walked to the bathroom. Who are you, my mind hissed at the mirror. "You!" I hissed backed. I ran myself a bath, adding flower petals and everything. I lit candles, too. I called the only person that could give what I need. Weed. Christen already knew before I told him. Dropping of the joints, he gave some advice. "Stop putting it off. And do it. The car has a full tank of gases and two hundred dollars in the glove compartment. Use it." I nodded.

Ten minutes later, I'm soaking in a too-hot bath, higher then heaven. My iPod's playing a song, I'm too high to figure out the name. But I'm singing along. At the top of my lungs. I know what I'm going to do. I'm going on vacation!

So, here I am, throwing on month worth of clothes into my bigger-than-it-looks backpack. My hair's bright purple. I only have two plans for this trip: Live and take a lot pictures. No one knows. I pack everything in the van, then get in. My first stop school, to drop of the homework packets, that I was suppose to do over my trip. Because why let homework cram my style. Then, the bank to put all the money from my penny banks in my bank account. Next, Skinny Kids' Home, to visit some old friends. Afterwards, God knows where. No one knows. Brianna and Justin are at sleepovers. Daddy's working over night. Papa's visiting his mother. Jalex is…well, somewhere.
