Ava's pov.
I was walking out to the parking lot, towards my truck. I had to walk all the way to the back since I was late to school and the parking spots up front were already taken."How's it going?" Someone said, coming up and walking next to me. It was a blonde hair, blue eyed geek that I didn't want anything to do with.
I ignored him, making sure to pick up my pace in walking. I just wanted to get home. I had numerous things to get done before going to the dance.
"So you going to the dance tonight?" He asked, walking closer to me with every step.
"That's none of your business." I spat, keeping my head forward.
The geek laughed at me. "Are you inhibited about dancing in public? You don't have to dance. You could just stand there with me and my dudes, and just be you."
"Sounds major." I replied sarcastically. I started to look in my bag for my keys, not having much luck.
"So," the geek said. "what's the story? You got a guy or what?"
"Yes," I looked up from my bag and stopped walking, making him stop. "three big ones and they lust wimp blood, so quit bugging me or I'll sick them all over your weenie ass."
The geek looked a bit offended but amused at the same time. "You know I'm getting input here that I'm reading is relatively hostile. I mean I just . . ." He trailed off.
"Go to hell." I spat, continuing my walking.
"Very hostile." The geek sighed, looking down as he continued to follow me. "Come on, what's the problem here, I'm a boy, you're a girl . . . is there something wrong with my trying to put together some kind of relationship between us?" The geek asked.
I, once again, ignored him and finally found my keys. I unlocked my truck door and opened it to get in, but a hand gripped my elbow loosely and stopped me.
"Okay look, I know you have to go, just answer me one question." He asked, his bright blue eyes pleading.
"Yes, you're a total fag."
The geek only laughed at me. "That wasn't the question." He paused. He puffed out his tiny chest and squinted his eyes. "Am I turning you on?"
I just rolled my eyes and wiggled my elbow out of his grip, finally being able to get in my truck and drive away.
