Jake's pov.
Ted was now carrying Caroline out to my dad's car in the garage. She was passed out and he carried her over his shoulder.I led him over to my dad's Roll Royce and we gently sat Caroline in the passenger seat.
"This is, uh, your car, Jake?" Ted stuttered, nervously scratching his neck.
I shook my head. "No, this is my dad's car. You said you couldn't drive a stick." I shrugged.
"This is a mother-" He stopped himself before he could say fucker. "This is a Rolls Royce, Jake."
"So?" I shrugged.
He seemed tense and very nervous. "So?!" He screeched. "I heard the grain alone cost five grand on this. Five grand! Do you have five grand? I don't have five grand."
"Then don't hit anything." I smirked, amused at how worked up he was getting.
He threw his hands up in emphasis. "Don't hit anything." He repeated me in disbelief.
I sighed. "Do you want to do this or not?"
"No!" He spat.
I raised my eyebrows, knowing he really wanted to do this. He immediately turned around towards the driver's side as muttered to himself.
"Who the hell . . . does he . . ." He mumbled to himself as he got into the car.
Caroline woke up, at the worst time possible, and looked at me with a confused expression. She then turned her head to Ted, then to me again.
"Who's he?" She asked, referring to Ted. She was still out of it so I knew I could mess with her head a bit.
"That's me." I gestured to Ted.
Caroline looked at Ted, then back at me. "Who're you?" She asked.
"I'm him." I pointed myself as I gave Ted a look that said 'go along with it'.
"Oh." Caroline said like she was in a daze. "Okay." She smiled before she went back to sleep.
I couldn't help but laugh. "Have fun." I smiled at Ted who was starting the car with the keys that were already in the ignition.
"Okay." Ted breathed. "Jake, is your Dad a big man?" He asked as I stepped away from the car to lead him out of the garage.
I thought about it. "About six four."
"Very nice." Ted sighed nervously.
Ted hit the gas but the car went backwards, making him immediately slam on the brakes. He shifted the car into drive as I led him out of the garage.
Once he was off, I heard an obnoxious laugh coming from somewhere. I looked to my left, then my right, but I couldn't see anyone. I kept hearing the same laugh as I decided to look up.
A random Asian dude was crouching on a branch. The party got way crazier than I thought.
"Oh sexy girlfriend!" He screamed as he took a swig of whatever was in his can. "Bonzai!" He decided to jump out of the tree, landing on me.
