Jake's pov.
I walked up the steps to Sam's house. Ava told me she was going there after she got ready for Sam's sister's wedding.I nervously stuffed my hands in my pockets after I rang the doorbell. Once the Asian guy from last night opened the door, I wasn't as nervous anymore.
He yelled and slammed the door shut, after throwing the ice pack that he held on his head at me.
"Go away!" He yelled through the door. "I call police!"
I huffed. "Open the door." I ordered, rolling my eyes. Why was he even here?
"No way, jose!" He shouted.
"Open the door!" I repeated a little louder.
"You beat up my face!" I heard him yell threw the door.
I scoffed. "You grabbed my nuts."
I heard Dong gasp loudly. "That you?" He said in his thick Chinese accent.
"Yeah, that me." I mimicked his accent.
He opened the front door and smiled a sigh of relief as. "Oh, so sorry. I thought you my . . . new style American girlfriend."
"Forget it, man." I shook my head. "Just get Ava."
"She not here." Dong said.
"Don't jerk me around, man. Where is she?"
"She got married."
"What?!" I thought Sam's older sister was getting married.
"She at the Church. She getting married to oily bohunk." Dong spat, like he didn't like him.
"Married?" I repeated.
"Married." He confirmed.
"Married?"
"Yeah, married." He smiled at me once last time as he shut the door.
"Married?" I asked myself quietly, even though Dong heard.
"Married." Dong said through the door. "Jeez."
