You were at a gas station, filling up the tank of your car. It was nearing nine pm, so there wasn't very many people on the roads. You were just heading home from visiting your sick grandmother. You honestly could not wait to get home to your boyfriend, Ross. You wanted get in bed and cuddle with your boyfriend.

You finished filling the tank, shutting it and got back on the road. The light hit green and just when you were in the middle of the intersection when a car ran a red light and T-boned into the side of your car.

The last thing you remember was your car tumbling over and you blacked out.

-

You fluttered your eyes open, seeing that you were in a room with pale white walls. You glanced down, seeing you were in a single bed, dressed in a gross hospital gown. There was IVs in your arms, giving you the chills of the thought of needles in your skin. You noticed purple bruises forming on your now very pale skin from the accident, even some on your hands, too. You for some reason looked extremely bony, and you couldn't help but wonder how long you've been out. The odd thing was that there was no casts on your limbs, but you could feel tight wrapping around your stomach.

You felt something squeeze your right hand, so you looked down, seeing a holding yours. You at the owner of the hand, seeing it was your boyfriend, Ross. He had his head laying on the bed beside your body, his blonde hair was a mess. He seemed to be exhausted, depressed and just a mess in general.

Poor thing. You thought to yourself. You saw him raise his head, so you quickly fluttered your eyes shut, cracking them open slightly to look through your lashes.

"Baby, please wake up," Ross caressed his thumb over your knuckles soothingly. "You've been out for three days...the doctors are beginning to worry you will fall into a coma." His voice was very shaky, you knew he was crying. And it broke your heart. You knew you should give him a sign to say that you are awake, but you had a feeling he was going to speak some more. "Everyone is so worried, Y/N. You know when I got that phone call, I dropped everything I was doing and rushed in here. I was a worried wreck, I didn't know what else to do. My parents and Rydel came to help me through the tough time, but it didn't help. I needed to know that you were okay and that you were going to survive. The doctors didn't let me see you until just yesterday. Two days after your accident...fucking assholes." He breathed under his breath.

You had to prevent yourself from laughing.

"I was so, so scared, baby," his voice cracked again. "I thought that was it, once I came here and they told me a drunk driver jammed into your car. I mean, I saw photographs of the damage of the car after the accident. It looked completely broken, which worried me even more. And I was worried that...I was never going to get the chance to tell you how madly and deeply in love I am with you."

Your heart began to beat faster, and you could hear the beeping on the heart monitor fasten up.

"Angel...can you hear me?" He asked hopefully, sniffling a bit. You stayed silent, wanting to hear the rest of his speech. "Y/N, I created this long speech, you know. And if you can't hear a damn thing I am saying, then fuck it because I am not repeating myself."

        You were mentally giggling.

"Ever since the day I met you, I knew you were the one," he started out. "You were just the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and I would of been an idiot if I didn't talk to you. I'm in love with everything about you. Your laugh, your smile, your beautiful eyes, the tropical scent of your hair, the way you snuggle closer to me during the night, hiding your face in my chest... The way you furrow your eyebrows together in concentration or how you always snort and laugh at me when I tell that cheesy joke, 'where does the king keep his armies? Up his sleevies' just to make you crack up. And you do, because the joke is so cheesy and you always find stupid jokes hilarious—which I never understand. You love that joke so much." He chuckles, probably imagining a time he told you that joke. "You may seem like this shy, innocent, keep to herself kind of girl—but once I got to know you...I found out that all the innocence is a cover up. You're a little bit of a wild child, which I absolutely love about you. You weren't afraid to ride on the back of my motorcycle or even go and jump off that cliff in Hawaii.

"Remember that one time your mother almost killed me when she found out that I took you skydiving?" He chuckled to himself, continuing to rub your knuckles. "It was kind of scary, actually. She came after me, scolding me on how dangerous that was of me to take you up in an airplane and jump out of it. She always said that how you use to not like this—and I quote, "before she even met you she was this silent little girl...and now you come in and—make her a adrenaline junkie!""

Ross started cracking up, and you terribly wanted to, as well.

"But all craziness aside," he chuckles softly. "I'm mad in love with you, Y/F/N. You are the best thing that has ever happened and I know deep down you love me, too. Now we can't start infinity and beyond if you don't wake up. Oh, and if you wake up with amnesia and forget who I am—I swear I think I will die."

You could sense some humor in his voice, but also seriousness.

You decided to finally 'wake up'. You fluttered your eyes open, smiling at Ross.

"B-babe?" He said in disbelief. "Oh my god, you're awake?! Oh god, what a relief!" He ducked down to plant kisses all over your face, but you stopped him.

To lighten up the mood, you thought you could do some mean joking just a tad.

"Wait, who are you?" You asked obliviously, watching his shoulders slump and his face droop. You quickly pulled on a evil grin, snickering. "You're name wouldn't happen to be Rossbear Shoreline Lynchykins, would it?"

His eyes widened, shaking his head. "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" He shrieks in anger. "God, you had me scared half to death! I hate you, Y/N!"

"Hehe," you giggled. "I'm sorry, Ross. It was mean, I know." You opened up your arms, just wanting to be close to him. He chuckled, carefully wrapping his arms around you delicately, making sure he didn't break you more than you already were.

"I don't know what I would have done if I lost you," he sniffed, peppering kisses all over your face.

"I'm here," you said. "I am staying, not going anywhere. I want to be with you forever, Ross. I love you. I love you so fucking much."

He perked up, his eyes sparkling.

"Y-you do?" He asked in half shock and disbelief. You nodded, kissing his nose.

"Miracles do happen, right?" You giggled, combing your finger through his soft, messy hair. He crashes his lips on yours for the most passionate, loving kiss you ever shared.

Thank you God for keeping me alive and giving the most wonderful thing in my life—Ross. You weren't very religious, but you owed God so much.
