"Y/N, Y/N!" The sound of cute Australian accent rings through your ears. You glance up from the new months issue; Seventeen, peering over the magazine. Your best friend Courtney Eaton stood before you.

"Yes, love?" You asked, mimicking her awesome Australian accent. It often made you jealous, wishing you had an Australian or even British accent, instead of a boring Californian accent. You hated the fact that you fitted so perfectly in Los Angeles, California with your accent. Even though you do live in Cali, you wished you lived somewhere more...altered, antithetic.

Maybe somewhere like Singapore? England? France?

"Y/N!" Courtney giggled, snapping you out of your trance. "I asked you if you seen my bandana anywhere."

"Court," you laughed. "Look, I know you love wearing those things...but tonight? On a date? Besides, I think you look great. Nice selection." You gestured to her flirty, date-ready attire.

You and Courtney didn't live together, she just at the last minute got frustrated with any outfits at her own home, so she came here seeing if any of your clothes were better. Which you didn't understand is why she doesn't like her own clothes. She's a model, and has wonderful, dazzling outfits.

"Thanks," she smiles. "Your clothes are way better than mine." You chuckled, shaking your head.

She did look gorgeous and it made you jealous at how pretty she was. She had on a pair of your dark blue skinny jeans, that fit perfectly on her long, sexy legs. And to go along with that, she had on a white shirt tucked in the jeans, with a brown leather jacket over top. Her dark brown hair was left natural (curly), and her tan skin seemed to be glowing. Well, she is a model, of course she looks good.

Your mind wandered off to her boyfriend you have constantly heard about; Ross Lynch. She won't stop talking about him and the only started dating a week ago—which is weird because not too long ago she broke up with the love of her life; Calum. But anyways, tonight is the first time you are meeting the famous Ross. You know what he looks like, from on his Austin & Ally TV show, plus R5 on the radio, commercials and so on.

"I feel so nervous," Courtney says, pouring herself a glass of mango juice from your fridge. "Thanks again for letting me borrow your clothes, fairy floss." You rolled your eyes as she called you that. Fairy floss means "cotton candy" in the Australian world. She always calls you that, because she knows you love the name.

"Anytime." You reply, getting off your comfy sofa. "And Court, you have absolutely no reason to be nervous. Ross is a good guy, right?"

"Yes," she nods. "But Y/N, that's not it." She sighs, stress and confusion written over her face. "I still love Calum, Y/N. Like, really bad. I miss him so much, and I just...I want him. I think Ross is great and all, but Calum is the one..."

"Courtney, are you just...using Ross?" You shrieked. "To get your mind off Calum?"

"Yes," she says with a guilty expression. "I know, it's bad. But I just want Calum to see me with Ross and then he'll get jealous and my hopes are he may come back for me..."

"Courtney!" You gasp. "Oh god, babe! Court, you can't do this. Not to Ross. When he finds out he is just a...fling, he'll feel so heartbroken."

"I know, I know," she gulps. "Just this one date, though. And that'll be it, I swear."

You bite your tongue, just nodding in response. This is Courtney's choice, even though what she's doing is wrong.
