"What the fuck do you mean Caspar is going to fight Travis?"
Oli winced and took his phone away from his ear slightly, glancing around the almost crowded parking lot. Many of the kids in his grade were there, all of them hanging out and wondering when Caspar was going to arrive for the fight. He had no clue why anybody would actually give a shit, but most of the people here were the bad kids who normally started fights. Oli seemed to be the only regular type of person here; everyone dressed in ripped clothing and leather. He guessed these were the type of people Travis hung out with.
Oli sighed into the phone and stayed out of sight from the crowd, watching Travis do push ups to 'warm up.'
"Zoe, it's really bad," Oli said, putting his hand in his jacket pocket and shivering slightly. "There's a lot of people here and Travis sent out a screenshot of Caspar saying he wanted to fight."
"What would he want to fight Travis over?" Zoe asked. She put him on speaker and he could hear her typing away at her phone.
"Well," Oli said, sucking in some air through his teeth. "He took a photo of Joe and Caspar at the movie and posted it to snapchat, saying some messed up stuff about Joe. Everyone's been since he went to school in your jeans."
Zoe stopped typing at her phone. "He went to school in my jeans? What?"
"Yeah, a lot of people were calling him shit that was transphobic and homophobic. Travis called him Josephine on the picture and he bet that she sucked Caspar off." Oli glanced over at the diner, looking through the empty place to see if anyone was there in case they needed them. "Caspar confronted him saying Joe didn't deserve it and got pissed when Travis said he was asking for it."
Zoe groaned over the phone, starting to type away at her phone. "Okay, I'm going to text Alfie and Marcus and get them to try and stop the fight. Don't tell Joe about this."
Zoe then hung up and Oli looked down at his phone, wincing once more.
Shit.

"Oli texted me again," Will said as they got into the car. Will decided to drive since even though they were in a rush, Will had more of a good judgemental brain and it would be safer if he drove. Joe put on his seatbelt as Will read his text message.
Oli: don't come to the fight, Zoe doesn't want Joe to come
"He said that you can't go," Will said, blinking down at his phone.
"What?" Joe asked, snatching the phone out of his hands. "Like bloody hell I won't!"
He read over the text and was about to respond when another one rolled in, this time from Zoe.
Zoe: if you take my little brother anywhere near that fight, Darbyshire, you're a dead man.
Joe scoffed, locking the phone and throwing it on Will's lap. "Like hell I won't go, Zoe's just being overdramatic. I need to get there and tell Caspar that he needs to calm the fuck down!"
"Joe," Will said, glancing over at his friend. "You're acting a little hyper right now,"
"I'm not hyper!" Joe snapped, glaring at him. "I'm trying to watch out for Caspar because he doesn't deserve this sort of shit, now take me to the fight right now or you and Arden will never be able to make babies when you get married!"
Will hesitated, taking the keys and wondering if he should listen to Zoe or Joe. If he listened to Zoe, Joe wouldn't get more hurt than he already was. But if he listened to Joe, something terrible could happen. He looked at his shorter friend one more time, seeing the dried tears on his cheeks and his red eyes and nose.
