II - Carly Von

"Carly, I'm sorry about my sister. Nakausap ko na siya kanina, pumayag na siya na itutor mo." Drew said.

Nandito ako ngayon sa office niya. After ko matanggap as a professor, nagpart time na lang ako dito. Drew is my childhood classmate, we used to be so close pero ngayon na boss ko na siya kailangan ko irespeto yung work position namin.

I sighed, "Manang mana sayo yung kapatid mo, matigas ang ulo."

He smiled, "Atleast I graduated with honors."

"I think she's smarter than you, she just need to study more." I said, "You should be worried, she might replace you anytime soon."

"I agree with you," He nodded, "Kapag nag aaway kami lagi akong talo dahil magaling siyang mag isip ng lusot sa lahat ng sinasabi ko. For sure you'll love her sense of humor."

"But I am not sure if I can handle her," I replied, "Panigurado hindi kami magkakasundo sa maraming bagay."

Hinawakan ni drew yung kamay ko as he spoke, "Carly, Please help me. Eto lang naiisip kong paraan para magtino na si ashley. This is her last semester."

Ngumisi ako at tumingin sakanya, "I'll try okay? Don't expect na mapapatino ko kapatid mo in five months."

Drew smiled, "Thank you carly, I owe you." Then he hugged me.

"Okay. Stop. I hate drama." Agad naman siyang kumalas sa pagkakayakap.

A few seconds later pumasok yung secretary niya, nakangiti na lumapit kay drew. "Excuse me sir, I have a good news." then the girl turn to face me, "Sorry for interrupting ma'am." I just nod as a response.

"What is it?" Drew asked.

"The clients in washington are interested in the proposal sir. They ask for your presentation next week."

His eyes widen, "Thank god, I've waited for this for so long. Dad would be proud of me."

Lumabas na yung secretary, while drew is here sitting in his desk smiling, "Congrats, good luck with the presentation. Ashley would be so proud of you too."

Then his face went blank as he looked at me, "Sht. Ashley, oh god. Ashley."

"Why?" I asked with confusion.

He sighed, "Mom and Dad aren't here, then I have to leave for this presentation. I can't just leave her with anyone, she's not a normal girl."

Not a normal girl, so what is she? Abnormal?

"What about relatives?"

"They're all living in washington carly, we're staying here because of our business. I'm just waiting for ashley's graduation to finally move to washington."

Oh that's sad.

A moment of silence...

"Carly."

Tumingin siya sakin ng nakakaloko. Alam ko kung ano ibig sabihin ng tingin na yun. Gusto niya ako maging guardian ni ashley sa pag alis niya.

"No drew, no."

Lumapit siya sakin, "Three months carly, just three months. Please?"

"I'm her professor drew. Naririnig mo ba yung sarili mo? I can't get into any trouble, I have a reputation to hold."

Drew sighed, "This is the biggest deal of my life. What should I do?"

"Her bestfriend nam could help you." I said.

He shook his head, "I once leave her with nam, you probably wouldn't believe me what they did." He paused, "They almost burn the house, who the hell would think of having a fire party inside the house?"
