Dark Pasts

So the night finished. I got a few horrible pecks on the cheek from Una giving me enough nightmares for the night.

We were given time to pack as in three days.

We're gone for pretty much one and a half months for this year from school. Amore got pretty much a lot of students with good grades.

I got a feeling it's weird. I'll miss my class. Sure. They're annoying. But. I'm glad we had that battle between classes. I realised how my class had unity all along. Amazing. Right? We're always fighting. But yeah. I miss my family more. Especially my real. Brother and sister. Mum and dad.

I went home by train. So I didn't say goodbye. Just a few words to Luke because he needed help for sorting out Blue and green. But not goodbye. I went to the station. Seeing a few kids from my school.

The rule of wearing the school jumper outside school weren't told by the prefects as always. So. I wore my blue hoodie. I covered my face so peeps won't recognise me and put on my headphones that I claimed back from matron.( I never mentioned matron? She's the one who checks every dorm. She rocks!) while waiting for the arrival of the next train. I dozed off on a bench.

I saw my little self watching my dad playing the saxes. Wait what? How could he hear all the melodies in his state? Dad? The whistling sounds of the train woke me up.

I saddled my back pack one at front. One at back. And grinned. I pulled my luggage towards the train. It was full. Goddamit. I wanted that dream back. But yes. I waited. And waited.

Pretty soon the sky was dark. And I think I just arrived the countryside. My legs were sore. But nothing beats the excited me. My mum cancelled her only visit in June so she could take care injured dad.

The station looked abandoned. Only filled with creaks of the lamp by a shed. The only light source there despite the shine of the light the moon gave.

There were paths in the thin woods that lead to my house. I smiled remembering the day I met Luke years ago.

Tiny Arthur.

It was the first day of kindergarten. Teacher wanted to start with colours. Luke was the most excited one like he's never seen a colour let alone heard of it. But I thought. Maybe this kid just like the way teacher describe colours. And he started whispering all types of grey to me. I was creep out.
Anyway to make learning colours interesting, there were a treasure hunt on the colours blue, red, green and yellow in the woods. We had to have groups of two.

I was left all alone. But teacher didn't want me to pair up with this Luke kid.
Of course he went all sad and started crying why he can't. And teacher started doing that bribing crap to make him shut up.

She finally gave up on shutting Luke up and was like.

"Fine. But if Luke asks about something you can't answer. Bring him to me." She instructed patting Luke's head. Luke scowled and pulled my hand towards the woods.

"I hate how adults still thinks we don't understand stuff up to their level." He muttered as he looked around the woods.

"What do you mean?" I asked. Confused. And picked up a blue painted pebble. Smart.

"What colour is that?" He asked and smiled.

"It's blue." I answered looking at his eyes. "Like your eyes."

"Wow. So what my mum said was true."

"Please tell me why you can't recognise colours." I finally blurted. After the millionth time he asked me what colours were the three colours in the marble were.
