I would like to apologize in advance for the sudden POV changes in this chapter.

George's POV
After dinner Fred and I were heading up to Griffindor tower when Katie and Angelina came over and asked if they could talk to us, ushering towards an empty classroom.
"Why did you two want to see us in an empty class?" Fred asks leaning on a desk.
"Well we uh just wanted to ask you something." Angelina said hesitantly.
"And what would that be?" I ask raising a brow.
Katie pulled me to one side of the room and Angelina pulled Fred to another.
But what they said, they said at the same time while blushing.
"Would you go to the ball with me?"
I just stood there for a moment and then a small sad smile formed on my face.
I took a few deep breaths before speaking.
"No." Fred and I said in unison.
"Sorry Katie, but I like someone else...." I look down at my shoes.
"It okay..." She whispers, but I can tell she's hurt.
"Friends?" I ask hopefully, looking up at her.
"Friends." She breathed, with a pained smile on her face.

Alice POV
I sat up in bed and looked at the clock.
I've already missed breakfast, and first block is about to start.
I lean over Tahlia, who had curled up next to me, to my bed side table and grab some parchment, a quill and some ink, writing a quick letter to professor McGonagall telling her I'm sick and asking if she would notify my other teachers.
After I get a reply that she will I lay back in bed and sigh as I pull the covers over my head and drift off into a dreamless sleep thanks to another sleeping drought.

George's POV
I walk into potions expecting to see Alice sitting in her usual spot next to mine but she isn't there, so I sit down and wait for her.
Class starts and she still hasn't shown up and I start to worry.
But when Snape begins roll and skips Alice's name I go into full on worry mode, like Molly Weasley worrying.
"Professor, do you know where Alice is?" I ask once he's finished roll.
"Yes, Mr.Weasley, I do." He says, sounding rather annoyed. "She is in her room, because she is sick, may I start my lesson now?"
I stay silent.
She's only sick and I got that worried, this girl is going to be the death of me.
--------------------------------------
After potions and ancient runes I head to lunch.
When I sit down at my usual seat next to Lee and Fred I notice the slight panic on Fred's face.
"What's wrong Freddie?" I ask him, as he lifts his head from his palms.
"I can't find Alex." He says, his voice coming out a little rough.
"I haven't seen Alice either, Snape said she was sick, maybe Alex is taking care of her?" I suggest, although I don't seem very convinced myself.
"Maybe..."

Alice POV
When I wake up again I notice it's about lunch time, and not wanting to run into the twins I opt to skip it, knowing I wouldn't be able to eat anything anyway.
I grab a book I found in the ROR a few weeks ago.
The Guide to Animagus Transformation.
I open the book and begin to read the steps, noticing how surprisingly easy they all seemed for something most people call dangerous and lengthy.
I notice the first step is to find out you're spirit animal, so I think of an easy way to do that and then remember a spell Alex learned in DADA, a patronus.
Right as I think this Alex comes through the door.
I sit up immediately and look at her.
"What?" She asks, stopping to look back at me.
"Teach me how to produce a patronus!" I say, leaning closer to her.
"Why?" She ask, getting a bit confused. "You're rubbish at DADA."
"Thanks for rubbing it in." I say under my breath.
"I need to find out my spirit animal.... Wait, why don't you do it with me!" I squeal.
"Do what...." She stops when she eyes the book I placed on the bed next to me. "You want to become an animagus?"
I nod my head vigorously.
"Aye sir!" I say, saluting her in a comedic way.
"What about registering?" She asks.
"Screw registering!" I call back in an amused tone.
"Okay, I'm in." She says with a grin.
"Now teach me how to produce a patronus."
