Chapter 24

Walking down to Hogsmeade with Triss, Ferin and Alex, the only thing I could talk about was how cute Alex looked sleeping with Fred and what I wanted to do with the twins.
"Duuuuude you have no idea how cute you two were!" I went off in full on fan girl mode.
"I don't care how cute we looked, he probably talks to me the same he would with any other girl and his actions would be the same too." She says, obviously not wanting to hear it.
"Oh come on."
"Nope."
After arriving in Hogsmeade we pass a group of guys all talking about coming to Hogwarts next year.
"Hey look it's a hot guy!" Ferin says excitedly pointing toward the group.
"Wait what?! A hot guy! Where?!" Triss looked around frantically.
When he spotted the guy he grabbed Ferin's hand and ran towards the groups of guys.
"Well I guess it's just us now." Alex said watching Triss talking with the tall hot guy.
"Yeah I guess so. So where should we go?" I shrug and look around.
"Let's go to the Three Broomsticks." She says linking arms with me.
"Alright." I chirp.

Grabbing a seat near the back we sat down across from each other.
"What do you want? I'll go get it." Alex offers.
"Butterbeer like always." I say with a smile.
She walks up the counter and placed our order of two Butterbeers.
After taking her sweet time Alex comes over with our Butterbeers and sits down.
"Hey, what took so long?" I asks as she sets the glass down in front of me.
"Sorry I wanted to check something." She says taking a sip of the drink.
"Oh okay." We both took a sip of Butterbeer at the same time.
I then hear someone chuckle to my left, I look over to see George and I immediately smile up at him, to which he smiles back.
I look back to where Alex is sitting to see Fred talking to her as he takes his hands off her eyes, looking a bit disappointed.
"What are you ladies up to?" George asked as the two twins sat down beside us.
"Just getting a drink before shopping." I chirp excitedly.

After leaving the Three Broomsticks we head towards Zonko's, Alex's choice.
After looking around for a bit I see nothing interesting or new that Alex and I haven't already used.
I gently lean on George as he looks around at the displays and he doesn't seem to really care, so I go a little further and wrap my arms around his, still slightly leaning on him.
I pull on his arm slightly in the direction of the door and he gets the hint.
"I promise we'll be back." I whisper to him as I gently drag him from the store and towards the fountain. I sit/lean on the edge of the fountain, and look up at him, smiling slightly, an awkward silence falling between us.
Why am I so quite, I'm the 'social butterfly' Alice Tracy, speak to the guy already!
"So why did you want to come out here?" He asks, sitting/leaning next to me, our fingers grazing each other lightly.
"Just thought they deserved some privacy on their 'date'" I mumbled. I could tell he wasn't really listening, he was staring off in the direction of that bitch, Katie Bell.
Of course he fancies her.....
"I'll be right back." He tells me, and walks off in the direction he was staring in.
I look down at my hands and sigh.
A few minutes later someone walks over to me.
I sit there, not looking up.
I hear them clear their throat so I look up and to my surprise, and anger, it's Katie Bell.
"What do you want Bell?" I ask, not even trying to hide the snarky attitude in my voice.
"I was just going to ask you if you've seen George." She snaps at me.
"He just walked in you're direction." I snipped back. "I assumed he was going to talk to you."
"Well he obviously he wasn't, or else I wouldn't be asking." She then stomped off towards her friends Angelina Thompson and Alicia Spinet.
Birds of a feather, stick together.
After another few minutes I look up to see George standing in front of me, hiding something behind his back.
"Um....George, what's that behind your back?" I ask curiously, standing up and taking a few steps towards him.
"Well, we were supposed to buy you guys something and I thought you'd like it....." He mumbles slightly. "But if you don't like it I can return it and buy you something else!"
"What is it?" I ask as I lean to my left trying to see what's behind his back.
"Here." He says handing me a small velvet box.
I take it and open it slowly to see a beautiful silver necklace with 3 charms on it: Griffindor charm, a book, and a beater bat. I pulled it out of the box and looked at it more closely and saw a forth charm attached to the beaters bat, a number 4.
"George, I love it!" My voice brakes slightly. "Can you help me put it on."
I hand him the necklace and pull my hair out of the way.
I feel his warm fingers brush against my neck as he fumbles with the clasp and linger for a few seconds before he pulls them away.
"Thanks." I tell him as I finger the necklace, playing with the bat charm.
"You're welcome." He says with a smile.
"Their probably looking for us, we should go back." I mumble.
"I guess you're right." He mumbles back, walking slowly in the direction if Zonko's.
I warp my arms around his and lean slightly into him as we walk.
