After Artemis had said Good Night to his parents and brothers, - all of whom had been amazed to see him , it was not everyday that you see a dead person walking, after all- he immediately began his preparations.
Apparently, the Harry Potter series were not as a fiction as it appeared to be.The seven books, written by J.K. Rowling, passed off as Fiction was real. Artemis had to admit it was clever. Hiding reality as Fiction would make anyone think that that believing in magic would be insane.
He, Artemis, had of course found out it was real. Trough sheer willpower and intelligence, he had overcome the spell that was placed on the websites to not being able to see his stories, and Diagon Alley and the Wizarding World in general. Extraordinarily, the last book was written a year before the Opal from the other timeline was killed, and it led him to the belief that there was a true seer at work.
'Foaly,' called Artemis into his fairy communicator.
'yes, Artemis?' he asked and then groaned. 'Tell me that you haven't got one of your slightly insane but actually ingenious plans, will you?' he appeared on Artemis's computer screen, just to startle him, but to his disappointment, Artemis did not seem surprised at all.
'Actually, Foaly I would be lying in saying that I do not have a plan,' said Artemis, his eyes expressing - Foaly could hardly believe it - amusement. 'I suppose your days were dull without me, weren't it?'
'Get on with it, Artemis,' growled Foaly.
'Very well,' said Artemis. 'But I must say that it seems that you have appeared to have missed our adventures, as you didn't answer my question, choosing to avert it instead.' Before Foaly could answer, he said, 'Activate code 0909, under the assumption 04123,' and images the Wizarding World appeared on his wall.
'What is this this, Mu-' began Foaly, then caught himself. 'What the hell is this, hybrid?'
Artemis merely raised an eyebrow and began his lecture.
'Assume that in the Battle of Taillite, there were another type of humans, humans with with magic, and they also went into hiding like the People. In some of the books on the People's history, it says that they had died out,' he paused. 'but what if they didn't die out? What if they also, in consequence, went into hiding, only, they went into hiding on the surface. But they only used magic to be in hiding, and had successfully mind wiped or to use their term; obliviated the non-magical people's memory but they couldn't block the cameras,' he said, in a deadly calm voice, which was his voice in expressing his excitement.
'Then...' said Foaly, grasping the hypothesis quickly. 'It means that magical human beings are in existence and had been for thousands of years?'
'Of course, my quadrupled friend,' said Artemis, flashing a smug smirk. 'Where do you think witches and wizards originated from?'
'You knew all along didn't you?' countered Foaly.
'Yes,' he said, simply, 'since fourteen years old. To be truthful, I was quite tired of saving the world at that time, but that, fortunately, did not stop my thirst for knowledge.' he resumed his lecture mode and gave a brief history on the witches and wizards. (Curiously, he did not reveal exactly how he knew about the wizarding world. It was not his secret to reveal, after all.)
'Let me guess,' said the centaur. 'Your planning on bringing the two worlds together, posing as an exchange student, aren't you? But how are you going to learn the spells in time?'
Artemis smiled his classical vampire smile. 'I forgot to tell you, Foaly that my Time Machine was completed.'
'W-what?' stuttered Foaly, for once unable to hide how impressed he was.
