Riddle Manor- 12 midnight

Voldemort laughed maniacally. His day was going well. Opal Koboi, the pixie, had made him a new body from the fairy magic, and now he was alive again. There had been only one minor setback. He had been forced to destroy all his Horcruxes when regaining his new body, or else he would have to wait until the Tri-wizard Tournament was over, and he simply did not have the patience to wait.

Besides, though he wouldn't admit, Koboi's plan did make sense. Now she was in the department of mysteries, using her ill- acquired magic to get the prophecy.

Voldemort was contemplating on a way to get rid of the pixie menace. Now he owed the pixie a life debt. For once, he was unable to kill someone and he was getting more and more annoyed by the second. For instance, she was insisting that Artemis Fowl, the muggle-born, was far more dangerous than Harry Potter.(A/N Voldemort did know that Artemis was descended from Hugo de Fole. He didn't think about it much. How ironic, considering he was a half blood himself.)

'Did you retrieve it?' he asked of Opal Koboi, who had suddenly appeared next to him, in her disguise as Ron Weasley. Whom Opal was possessing.

'Of course,' she replied sweetly. 'Did you know what was written in it?'

'Harry Potter, I suppose?' replied Voldemort haughtily. If it was Longbottom-

'No!' cried the pixie triumphantly. 'It said, and I quote the 'The Dark Lord, Opal Koboi-'

'And?' asked the Dark Lord. He shouldn't be surprised, of course he shouldn't, he was working with Koboi after all.

'"Artemis Fowl"' she shouted triumphantly.

'That is, simply not possible.' The Dark Lord said, regaining his composure quickly.(he was the Dark Lord after all.)

'Let's hear the prophecy, shall we?' she retorted with an evil laugh.

'No, you shall no-' the only response he got were the smashing of the prophecy. And what he heard next simply made him unable to reply.

The slowly revolving form of Sybill Trelawney spoke, not in her usual dreamy voice but in a harsh voice.

'The one with the power to defeat the Dark Lord and Pixie approaches, born in the seventh month, born to a line of squibs, the first one to have magic, with intellect beyond his years, and with the help of the People and the phoenix, the immortal viper shall defeat the Dark Lord and the Pixie, once and for all.' Sybill Trelawney faded away into nothingness.

There was a thunderstruck silence. Voldemort was having second thoughts about Artemis Fowl. The prophecy had changed.

'Fowl!' shrieked Koboi suddenly, making him snap out of his dace. 'I. AM. GOING. TO. KILL. YOU.'

'Of course we are,' agreed Voldemort. An evil smirk came to her lips, and Voldemort was now aware exactly why the People had feared Opal Koboi.

He laughed. Eventually Opal joined him, and the sound echoed ominously around the manor.

Meanwhile at Hogwarts, Harry Potter awoke with a start at one a.m.

Dumbledore's POV (Third Person)

Albus Dumbledore was no fool. He knew manipulations when he came across them. He called himself an expert reader of character, and he knew when he was manipulated.

With Artemis Fowl around, he was never sure anymore. Now Albus knew exactly why Artemis was called a genius.

Albus took a good look at Artemis Fowl. Generally, he was able to read people with a single glance. But Artemis Fowl was different. At first glance, he seemed to be an average slytherin, with a cunning that had surpassed the average slytherin.
