It was my first day of tenth grade. I was a little nervous even though I went to this school last year.

"Ms (Y/L/N)." Mrs Larson said

"Yes." I quickly responded

"This is Brendon Urie, he is a new student. Would you mind showing him around?" Mrs Larson requested

"I don't mind." I replied before Mrs Larson walked away

"Hi, uh, the m-my name is (Y/N)." I stuttered

"I'm, uh, Brendon." He nervously said

The bell rang

"Shit! I gotta get to class." I said angrily

"What class do you have?" Brendon asked

"I have math." I answered as I started walking

"Me too." He said as he followed me

~~Lunch Time~~
I sat down and started to eat my lunch. My friend, (Y/F/N), sat next to me.

"Why were you late for math class?" She asked

"I was talking to the new kid, Brendon." I responded

"Oh. Is he cute?!" She blurted out

"Yeah." I assured her

Brendon walked over to where me and (Y/F/N) were sitting and sat down next to me.

"(Y/N), who is that?" (Y/F/N) asked looking at Brendon

"This is Brendon." I told her as her jaw dropped

"H-hi, B-Brendon. I-I'm (Y/F/N)." She spat out nervously

"Hi." He casually responded

"(Y/N), I want to ask you something." He stated

"Go ahead." I said

"Well, it's ok if you say no." He added

"Brendon, just ask me." I started to become impatient

"Would you like to be my girlfriend? I mean, you don't have to if you don't wa-" he said as I cut him off with a soft kiss on the cheek.

He turned red as a tomato.

"Is that a yes?" He asked

"Yup!" I said popping the 'p'

(Y/F/N) just sat there like she was going to cry.

"Um, (Y/F/N), are you ok?" Brendon asked

"I-I just-" she stuttered as she teared up, she stood up, grabbed her lunch, and walked away

We finished up lunch and went to our afternoon classes.

~~Dismissal~~
"Do your parents pick you up or do you go on the bus?" Brendon asked

"I normally walk home. Do you wanna come over?" I asked

"Yeah, as long as your mom doesn't mind." He added

"She won't care" I assured him

Brendon looked at me and smiled and grabbed my hand. We had finally got to my house. I took out my house key and unlocked the door.

"MOM I'M HOME!!" I yelled as Brendon and I entered

We walked into the living room and sat on the couch. We both pulled out our homework and got to work. Once we were finished I put a movie on. I cuddled close to Brendon and he put his arm around me. About 20 minutes into the movie my mom walks into the room.

"Hi (Y/N). How was school?" My mom asked

"It was good." I replied

"Who is this?" She asked, looking at Brendon

"I'm Brendon." Brendon answered

"Oh, are you and (Y/N), um, you know, together?" My mom awkwardly asks

"Yeah." I replied

"Oh. I'll leave you two alone. " my mom said while leaving the room

"Bren." I said

"Yeah?" He responded.

"I-I like you." I stuttered

"I like you too." He repeated back.
