Riley's POV
Would they find the message?

Would they realise how much pain I was in?

The motel I was staying in was a grungy as the school toilets. The walls were covered in grime, and the floor creaked loudly at night, as if a demented spirit was looking for potential victims. I had a computer, and WiFi.

I also had Demon Lucas.

He shoved me against the wall, and kissed me roughly.

God, the pain. So bad, and yet I needed it. I didn't know why, but guilt settled in my heart.

"I hate you!"
"Be a good girl Riley..."
"Shut your face and leave!"

He left temporarily, not before I gave him a well-earned kick in the unmentionables.

I quickly opened the computer, and smiled as my little brother popped up onto the screen.

"Hi Auggie."
