Part 16

Maya stood infront of the cake,it had her name on the side and the cover for her album printed on top.The night had finally arrived and the time had come for the release of Maya's album.She looked around the room at all of the faces walking by her.Some smiled and spoke to her whilst other just strutted past.Maya couldn't process anything though,everything just seemed to be a blur to her.A firm hand woke her out of her trance.She looked down to find her fingers interlocked with someone elses and then looked up to see Josh smiling down at her.
"You don't look to well.Are you sure you're ready for all of this?"
Maya took a deep breath and closed her eyes.The thing was Maya was ready,all of the things she had gone through to get to where she was today had made her stronger and more confident.She knew that people liked her music and that her friends and family would always be there for her,no matter what.It was just that something deep down in her made Maya feel slightly uneasy.What if the rest of the world didn't like her music,or her character?What if she changed due to the fame?What would happen if people liked her music and her life changed completely?No more privacy.
"Will you still be there for me if things go wrong........and I mean like if I go wrong and I turn out to be some shitty person who only cares about herself."
Josh chuckled slightly and turned Maya so then they were upright,facing each other.He lightly put his arms around her waist and stared deep into her eyes.
"No matter what happens,I will always be there for you.I know that you will be really succesful in life and I knew that from the moment I first laid eyes on you.I want to be with you to witness all of your greatness and I want to live my life with you.I have said this so many times Maya.........No matter what......I...Will always.....be there for you........and........I will always.....love......you."
Maya smiled at Josh.He always knew how to make her feel special.He was her only one.
"Good......I love you too and I am ready to celebrate my album now.....I think."
Josh held Maya's hand again and pulled her further into the room full of people.

"See all these people here?They are all here because you are amazing and they want to celebrate with you.So let's celebrate properly."
Maya chuckled and followed Josh onto the dance floor where Riley and Lucas were dancing.Maya laughed at them then dragged Riley over to the centre where they did the craziest dance they could think of.

"Thanks for being here with me Riles."
"Anything for you Peaches."

It has literally taken me 1 week to write this because I have had a really bad writing week.
I dont know about this chapter because I kinda just wrote what I thought
