Part 14

Topanga and Katy stood anxiously waiting for their children to arrive at the airport.They thought they were mad that they even let Maya and Riley stay in a completely different state for a month without them.The only reason why Topanga and Katy had agreed to let Riley and Maya stay in L.A was because they knew it would be benifitial for them both to have time away from the cruel obstacles of life.All they wanted now though was their children back,safe with them.

Maya and Riley where walking out of the plane and into the airport.The time away had really helped them grow together again and also decide what they wanted out of life.
"You ready to get back into the real world Peaches?"
Riley squeezed Maya's hand as they were about to go into the room that contained their old lives.
"I will have to be ready.No turning back now."
Maya put a smile on her face as she sighed and walked through the doors.

In the past month Riley and Maya had completed all of their school work ahead of time meaning they could have a holiday and relax on the beach.They also completed Maya's album and cried a great deal over Josh and Lucas.Maya had also turned 17 as it was May.They didn't know what was going to happen when they returned home and had to continue with real life.Would Josh still be waiting for Maya or would he have been a typical college boy and moved on?Did Lucas actually keep his promise to Riley and wait for her too?Maya had already got the image into her mind that Josh had moved on to some new girl and she was a thing of the past.Riley just hoped that Lucas wasn't mad at her for dragging the argument out for so long.

As Maya entered the room the first person she laid eyes on was her mother.She looked so small and helpless within the crowd of people that it made Maya hurt.
"Mom!"
Maya and Riley both ran up to Katy and Topanga and hugged them tightly.They had missed that very much.Once all of the hugging and questions were done the groups of people had thinned and May spotted a person in the far corner of the room that made her heart lift up.Joshua Matthews.Maya took a breath and then walked up to him,their eyes locked.
"Hi Maya.I hope you will be glad to know that I waited for you."
Josh had a hopeful smile on his face whilst Maya's face lit up like a christmas tree.She managed to squeek back.
"You did!"
Josh opened his arms up in reply to Maya's remark and caught her as she leaped into them.Her legs were tightly wrapped around his waist whilst Josh was holding on to Maya for deal life.
"I would always wait for you Maya Hart."
Maya leaned backwards slightly to look at Josh's face.
"Josh?"
"Yeah Maya?"
"................I love you."
Josh beamed and pulled Maya into a long intense kiss.In that moment they both knew that what they were was right.No age gap mattered and no silly three word phrase could ever break up a true relationship.After a while they finally seperated and looked at each other wearing proud smiles.
"Well Maya I would have to say that I love you too,but I think you already knew that didn't you?"
Maya laughed a little and nodded.

Maybe the break in L.A was good for Maya and Josh.
Was it good for Riley and her relationship though?

Guys I'm watching Christmas films and shows and listening to christmas songs and I just love Christmas so much like YAY
So will Riley and Lucas survive???
