"I have to tell Jo! She has to know!"
Q and I rose up from the couch. We were so tired. I checked my phone for the time.
"It's 4 in the morning" I said.
"Why the fuck was he screaming that?" Q said.
"I have no idea. Should I wake him up?" I said.
"No he hates being woken. He's gonna be really cranky if you do" Q said.
"Okay" I said.
"I'll just go back to sleep" I said while flopping onto the couch.
"No I don't want you to wake up again if he screams. I'll take you to my room."
Q led me upstairs and to his room. All of his cats were in his bed. He pushed them off and motioned me into the bed. He then left the room and closed the door. He went downstairs and fell back to sleep on the couch. It only took about a minute before I fell back to sleep.
"What?! You have to tell her!" I heard Q shout.
"I know I do. I'm just afraid she'll hate me" Sal said.
"She's gonna find out one day. Tell her. If you don't, I will" Q said.
I went downstairs. I needed to find out what Sal needs to tell me.
"What the hell is going on?" I asked.
"Nothing, Jo. It's nothing you should know" Sal said while looking at Q.
I checked my phone. It was 2 pm. I guess they didn't have to film today.
"You guys woke me up. Sal, I heard you scream that you had to tell me something. Now you guys are talking about something that I need to know. Tell me what is going on" I said. My voice was raspy.
"I think you heard wrong. I needed to tell Joe something. We were talking about him, not you" Sal said.
"That's bullshit" I said.
Q walked out of the room. He didn't want to be in the middle of this.
Sal took my hands.
"Listen. Trust me. There's nothing you need to know. We weren't talking about you. I'm being honest" Sal said.
"Fine. But I still know something is going on" I said.
Sal rolled his eyes. Q was trying not to get involved and started feeding the cats.
"Let's go home" Sal said.
We walked out of the house after saying bye to Q. We crossed a few streets of houses and got to the house in about twenty minutes. The whole time I was thinking about what I need to know.
Sal and I walked into the house. Sal went to his room and shut the door. I heard him start to cry. I wanted to go in and talk to him, but I wouldn't until he told me what was so important.
I went into my room and finished unpacking. Finally, I am settled here. I took out my phone and saw it was only at ten percent. I charged it while I was organizing things in my room. No matter how much I distracted myself, I was still thinking about it. I unplugged my phone. I wanted to text Murray about this. Maybe he knew something.
Hey Murray.
Hey Jo! What's up?
Sal and Q were talking about something that I need to know. Do you know anything about it?
You'll have to be more specific.
Something that I shouldn't know. What does that mean?
Sorry, Jo. I really don't know. I can't help you.
It's fine. Bye!
Bye!
Well that was a waste of time. I don't think Murray knows. Sal just told Q, so I don't think he told Murray right now. I decided to text Joe.
Hi Joe.
Hi Jo. How are you doing?
Alright. I just need to ask you something.
What is it?
Did Sal ever mention anything to you about something that I shouldn't know, but I have to know?
I don't think so. Maybe the birds and the bees talk?
Haha. No it's not that. It's much more serious.
If he mentions anything I'll probably tell you.
Thanks. Bye!
Bye!
Well that was another fail. I guess I'm not going to find anything out about this.
I heard Sal's door open. His face was red, and his wrists were scratched.
"Hey, Sal."
"Hi. Please don't ask me about earlier. I'm not going to say anything."
"Okay. I won't ask. Why did you scratch yourself?"
He ignored my question. I decided to forget about it for a while.
"So...Do you want to do something fun tonight?" Sal said.
"Sure. What is it?"
"I was hoping you'd answer that. But since you're not, how about we go visit Joe? He told me that he can sense that Milana wants to meet you" he said.
"Haha. It's 3 pm though. Won't it take a long time to get there?" I said.
"Not if I drive fast" he said while shaking the keys in my face.
