Practically Daddy [COMPLETE]

Chapter 31

"Jo. Wake up. We have to film two punishments today" Sal whispered. He was shaking me awake.

"Ugh. Do I have to come?" I groaned.

"You don't have to, but I want you to" Sal said.

"I'll just stay for Murray's and then I'll come back here to rest" I said.

"Okay. That's perfect because Bessy is coming back right after Milana gets to see sharks eat Murr" Sal giggled.

I got up and threw on a t-shirt and sweatpants. I didn't feel like putting effort into an outfit today, especially with my cast.

We got to the aquarium and greeted some workers. Murr was blindfolded. I felt bad for him since he had to pretend to be a trainer in a shark show. They stood in a line in front of the camera and introduced his punishment.

"Today, you'll be a shark trainer, presenting these two sharks" Joe said.

"What? No! I can't be around sharks! I'm deathly afraid" Murr whined.

"Well, that's not it. You'll also be swimming with them to show the crowd how to be around sharks" Joe said.

The camera turned off and Murray kept whining.

"Please don't do this, guys. I'm gonna die" he said.

"Relax. Remember the alligator?" Q said.

"Guys, I'll do anything else" Murr said.

"Okay. I think there's a place to skydive here" Sal said.

"Fine. There's insurance on me in case I die, right?" Murr asked.

"Of course. Now put on your wetsuit" Q said.

Murr changed into his wetsuit and came out to show us. All of us died laughing. Sal fell down and recorded the whole thing. He looked ridiculous.

"Okay, Murr. Go present the sharks to the crowd" Joe said.

"Come on. I don't want to do this" Murr whined.

"Dude, it's a punishment" Q said.

Murray walked in and started talking to the crowd about sharks. He made a bunch of jokes that made us all laugh. He threw fish in the gigantic tank to feed them so they wouldn't be hungry when Murr went in.

"Alright, buddy. Go on in" Sal said.

"This is scary. They're trained but it's still crazy" Q said.

Murr went down the stairs into the short end of the pool. Then, he was forced to grab onto the fin. That was the cue for the shark to start swimming at top speed. Murr fell off of the shark and went underwater. He got back up and it was time for his final ride. He had to grab onto the shark's tail. Murray grabbed onto the tail and the shark started swimming even faster. Murr was holding on for a few seconds before he drifted under the water again.

"Your punishment is over now!" Joe shouted.

A lifeguard came to help Murray out of the water. He looked shocked and was shaking. Q and Joe got him a few towels to dry off and change.

"Jo, are you coming with Milana and I back to the hotel?" Bessy asked me.

"Yeah. I'm really tired" I said.

"Me too. Milana needs her nap too" Bessy chuckled.

Bessy got us a cab to get to the hotel. When we got back, Bessy and Milana went into their room, and I went to mine. I laid in my bed and stared at Sal's book bag that was still by the bathroom door. I closed my eyes for a few minutes until I heard a knock at my door. I went to open the door. It was Bessy with Milana in her arms.

"Sorry, Jo. I know you're tired, but can you watch Milana for a little bit while I shower? Joe isn't here to watch her" she said.

"No problem" I said.

Bessy gave me Milana and then went back to her room. I put Milana in my bed to lay down. I tickled her and saw her face light up. She had the cutest laugh and smile. Everything I did seemed to amuse her. I had to go to the bathroom, so I moved Sal's bag from the doorway into the bathroom. I put his bag on my bed next to Milana. I went to the bathroom for a second and came out. When I came out, Milana was smiling. She had a devious smile on her face. I then saw all of the things that were in Sal's book bag knocked down on the floor. There was an extra t-shirt, an extra pair of shorts, headphones and a bunch of other things that Sal carries around. It was all on the floor.

"Milana!" I laughed.

"Ah" she mumbled.

I cleaned it all off of the floor and neatly put it all back in his bag. There was something else that was on the floor. It was a bunch of papers. As I read the papers, I figured out what Sal wouldn't tell me.

"Hey, Jo. Thanks for watching her. I'll take her back now" Bessy said as she walked in my door.

"I'm going back to New York" I said.
