"Yes! He's a terrible person who deserves it" I said.
"Yeah, he is. You said that he made up the story that he had a sister that died. That's horrible. He only flirted with you to nail -- have sex with you. That's horrible. If it weren't illegal I would do the worst kind of things to him" Sal said.
"Yeah. How long is the drive going to be?" I asked.
"About four hours" he said.
"It's 7 pm! Don't make the guys come. Let's just go ourselves. They probably don't even care" I said.
"They love you too, Jo. They want to protect you also" Sal said.
"Fine, but it doesn't feel right. Anyways, the online school took off 2,000 hours of school that I need to do. Now I only need 1,000" I said.
"Take your time. Don't rush. I don't want you to leave for college yet" Sal said.
"Ugh Sal. I told you. I'm going to college when I'm ready" I said.
"Okay, okay. Let's turn on the radio" he said.
He turned on the radio to his own station. I looked at him with a disgusted face and changed it to a better station. The songs on my station were all of the songs that are overplayed in America. I took out my headphones and listened to music. I played a few games on my phone and then watched Jokers Wild.
"Are you guys ever going to bring back Jokers Wild?" I asked.
"Probably not. It was a lot to juggle Impractical Jokers with it. Oh! I forgot to tell you. Joe got a card at the mall that says Fuck You on it. You are going to write a note to him, but don't say anything that shows you that you wrote the note. Tell a story. Make sense?" Sal said.
"Of course. How much longer until we get there now?" I said.
"About 10 minutes. Put it under his door and we're all gonna run" he said.
"You don't run, Sal. None of the guys do except Murray" I laughed.
"I'm working on it" he snapped back.
Minutes later, we got to Leo's street. Joe, Murr, and Q came in our car. Joe gave me the card. It's not everyday you find a card that says Fuck You on it. I started to write on the card.
Leo only made a girl fall for him for the wrong reasons. Sex was the only thing he wanted from her. He lied to her in messed up ways. He told her that his imaginary sister died. Who the fuck does that? You wanted to steal from somebody she lived with. Fuck You, but thank you for teaching her not to trust anyone. EVERYONE WILL COME FOR YOU! EXPECT THE WORST!
The guys really liked what I wrote. Q even drew a middle finger on the card.
"Who's putting it under his door?" I asked.
"You're the smallest, Murray. He might not see you" Q said.
"Actually, Jo's the smallest" Murray said.
"Fine I'll go" I said.
"Don't go alone. I'll come with you" Joe said.
"Okay. Let's go" I said.
Joe and I got out of the car and walked to the front door. The lights in his house weren't on, so nobody could've saw us. I put the card under the door while Joe was on the lookout. It was dark and creepy.
We ran back to the cars and Joe went into his. He drove back home with Murray. Q went to his car. I jumped in Sal's car.
"Go! Drive home!" I shouted.
"Okay, okay" Sal said. He stepped on the gas.
We got home at around 3 am.
"I'm so tired" Sal whined once we got home.
"Same. You guys filming tomorrow?" I said.
"Yeah. We better get some sleep" he said.
I ignored what he said and walked over and hugged him.
"Thank you for helping me get revenge on him" I said.
"Anything for you. You have no idea how much I love you" Sal said.
I went upstairs and fell asleep.
"Jo! Get down here!" I heard Q yell.
I rubbed my eyes, put my hair in a bun, and ran downstairs.
"Jo! You have to see this! What did we do?" Sal said.
Q and Sal were sitting on the couch, looking at the tv.
"What happened?" I asked. I was feeling like this was a dream, but I was just tired.
Q played what was paused on the tv.
"This morning we have a story on a teenage boy who had recently moved to the Hamptons, Leo Anderson. His parents found him dead this morning. Doctors say he overdosed on prescription drugs in the middle of the night. The reason is unclear" the reporter said.
"He killed himself? I wanted to get revenge, but not this horribly" I said.
"Yeah. It's terrible, but we have to move on" Q said.
"Not really, Q. We could get in trouble if his parents find that note" Sal said.
"If they found the note, they would've said it on the news" Q said.
"I'm just saying, anything can happen now. Don't give into anything" Sal said.
Q and I nodded. I went upstairs and got dressed into a tight t-shirt, sweatpants, and sneakers.
Q started his car. Sal and I jumped in the back seat. They were filming somewhere in Brooklyn today.
When we got to the supermarket where they were filming and Q told Murray and Joe the news right away. They said it was terrible, but then they never mentioned it again.
The challenge was to just do and say what you were told. Sal went first.
"Excuse me? Is it normal that I hate my adopted daughter?" Joe said. He wanted Sal to say that.
"Joe, that's going a little far" Murr said.
"Guys I'm just kidding. You guys would do it to me" Joe said.
We all laughed.
"I'm not gonna say that, guys" Sal said.
I wouldn't even mind if Sal said it. It was a joke. I'm thankful that he didn't say it though.
Next was Murr's turn, then Joe, and then Q. At the end of filming, Q drove Sal and I home. I took a shower, did a few hours of school, played on my phone, and then went to sleep. I needed to catch up on sleep.
I heard the sirens approaching our house. They barged in the door and then put Sal and I in handcuffs. They said we were under arrest for leaving the note and making Leo kill himself. They took us to the police car and put us in the back seat. The officers disappeared and we saw the driver. It was Leo.
