Practically Daddy [COMPLETE]

Chapter 13

We got to the mall and bought quick, cheap gifts for the other guys. Murr got a few gift cards and a mug. Joe got a gift card and a new phone case. Bessy got a silver bracelet and baby clothes for Milana. Q got a gift card and sweaters with cats on them.

Sal and I met them at Q's house. Q decorated is house really well.

"Hey. Merry Christmas! Nice tree" I said.

"Thanks. I worked hard on it" Q said.

Sal and I sat on the couch with Q. We put all of our gifts under the tree.

"Merry Christmas!" Joe and Murr screamed while walking into the house.

We all hugged them. Joe even brought Milana. They put all of their gifts under the tree. Q went into the kitchen and got snacks. We ate crackers with cheese, mini hot dogs, salad, and a lot of junk food.

By 5 pm, we were opening our gifts. We were all pretty happy with what we got. I didn't get anything from anyone, but it's alright.

Afterwards, the adults had a few drinks while I played with Milana. I wanted to drink too, but I obviously couldn't.

Sal and I walked home at 6 pm.

"So did you have fun?" Sal asked when we got home.

"Yeah it was pretty fun" I said.

"Sorry you didn't get a gift. I feel horrible. I forgot to get you something at the mall and the guys didn't know you were coming. I'm so sorry" Sal said.

"It's fine. You gave me the tickets to all of those shows" I said.

"That wasn't for Christmas though" Sal said.

"It's okay. Don't feel bad" I said.

"Okay. Oh, I forgot to tell you something. Your online school called me and said I should set up your account and everything" Sal said.

"Cool. So...can we do it now?" I said.

"Yeah. Just lets go downstairs to the basement to the computer" Sal said.

We walked downstairs and I didn't see a computer.

"Where's the computer?" I asked.

"Oh, we don't have one" Sal said.

He went to the cabinet and pulled out a brand new MacBook.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Merry Christmas, Jo" he said.

I hugged him. He's given me way too much in the time that I've lived with him. I wonder if I'll ever be able to give him back somehow.
