Miranda pov

Me and the kids got out of the car and made our way to the front door. I went to unlock the front door to find it was unlocked. I slowly opened the door and saw the lights on in the kitchen. "Miranda!" Josh rounded the corner smiling with a chef hat on "josh!" I ran to him and he picked me up and spun me around "daddy!" Both kids ran to us and hugged josh as he set me down. The chef hat fell off as he picked up the kids. I stood there smiling and watching josh as he talked to the kids. "When did you get home?" I asked "just after you guys left for the airport" he smiled "i made dinner. Sort of" he chuckled and we all walked to the table to find four bowls of kd. I smiled "i didnt know what else to make" he smiled "this is pretty great" i walked over to him as the kids sat down. "I love you" he wrapped his arm around my waist "i love you too" i pecked him on the lips.

After we all ate josh took the kids to the living room to give them some stuff that he bought for them during tour. I quickly put the dishes in the dishwasher and walked to the living room to watch. Josh was just unziping his suite case when i got in there "have you guys been good for mom" josh smirked as he saw me walk into the room "yea, yes we have!" Dan was bouncing in his spot on the floor. "No, they were horrid" i smiled "no we werent! We were good!" Kayla said "okay" josh chuckled and pulled out a sleeping with sirens shirt and a pierce the veil shirt. Yeah the kids like those bands. I chuckled as the kids put the shirts on ever their other clothes "thank you daddy!" Kayla and dan said insync. I smiled as josh got tackled to the ground by the kids hugging him. "Hey guys, did you give daddy his presents yet?" I asked, the kids got off of josh and ran upstairs. I chuckled and went to sit beside josh. "Why hello there" he smiled and wrapped his arm around me pulling me closer "hello" i giggled "i didnt know what to buy you" he sighed "you being home is everything i want" i smiled "so you dont want this" he smirked holding up a medium sized box "whats this?" I looked at him "open it up" he smiled, i opened it up and smiled at him. "Do you like it?" He questioned me as i looked at the heartshaped pendant. "Love it" i smiled at him. He took the necklace and helped me put it on, "thank you" i pecked him on the lips. "Your welco-" he was cut off by the kids sticking two homemade cards in his face. "Wow whats this" josh smiled as he took the cards, "their cards for you" dan smiled proudly as josh read the cards. "Thank you guys" josh smiled and hugged the kids.

"Welcome home" i smiled as josh laid down in bed beside me. "Its great to be home" he wrapped his arms around me pulling me closer "i missed you" i mumbled into his chest "i missed you too" he kissed my head. "Well i have a very long time off from touring now, but i have to start going back to the studio next month" he ran his hand through my hair. "Well i have a month of you to myself. Sorta" i chuckled "yes you do, which means. You have me all to yourself on your birthday. Which means. My mom has offered to watch the kids" josh smiled while wiggling his eyebrows "keep it in your pants rockstar" i smirked and kissed him "ive kept it in my pants for two months" he fake pouted "and you have to wait for one more week" i smirked
