Miranda pov -friday-

This week has been uneventful. The pain medication the doctor gave us for Dan, the side effects make him drowsy or moody. Im debating if me and Josh should even go out tonight, Dan is such a handful for us and we don't want Carolyn to have to deal with him. Josh already packed our bag and put it in the car, Carolyn should be here any minute. "Love you mommy" Kayla came and hugged my legs "love you too baby girl, be good for grandma okay" i kneeled down and hugged her. "Miranda, moms here" Josh ran down the stairs "someones excited" i chuckled. Kayla jumped into his arms as he picked her up. "Love you mommy" Dan yawned from the couch "love you to hun" i went and kissed his head ad Carolyn walked in "hey guys" she smiled "hi mom" Josh went and hugged her "thanks for watching them tonight" he smiled "no problem" she smiled "have a good night you two" she chuckled as Josh came to say good bye to Dan. "If you need anything, call us" i told Carolyn, "I'm sure we'll be fine, right kids" she smiled "we'll be good" Dan called from the couch "you better be, or i will take away your guitar for a week" i told him "we'll be good" he repeated looking worried "good" i smiled proudly "so we're all ready to go?" Josh asked bouncing on his heels at the door "yes" i chuckled and hugged Carolyn "thank you" i smiled "anytime, now go have fun" she chuckled and started pushing us out the door.

Once mommy and daddy left i walked upstairs and grabbed my guitar. I then walked back down to Dan. "Hi" i gave him a small smile. "Hi" he said. Dan has been really mad and mean lately and i don't know why. "Wanna hear a song?" I asked and he nodded. I started to strum random chords "You Are My Sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy, when skies are grey. You'll never know, dear, How much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away. The other nite, dear, As I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms. Please don't take my sunshine away." i tried to sing "love you Kayla" Dan opened his arms for a hug, i giggled and set my guitar down and running to him for a hug.
