"Daddy" i felt someone crawl onto the bed "daddy" i heard kayla say "daddy" dan poked my face, i opened my eyes to find dan and kayla where miranda was last night. "Morning daddy" dan smiled as kayla rolled around on the bed. "Morning guys" i smiled and sat up "wheres mom?" I asked "shes in the basement, she fell asleep during the bee movie" kayla came and layed across my legs. I chuckled and looked to my right to see what time it was. 3:42 PM. Oh damn. "Okay, you two stay in the music room while i go get mom" kayla got off my legs and her and dan ran to the music room closing the door behind them. I got up and walked to the basement to find miranda fast asleep on the couch. "Miranda" i kneeled in front of her "baby time to wake up" i said softly. She stirred and her eyes opened tiredly "morning sunshine" i smiled "morning" she yawned and stretched "what time is it?" She asked tiredly "around 3:45 ish" i said "shit" she cussed rubbing her eyes. "Where are the kids?" She questioned sitting up "their upstairs in the music room" i stood up then sat down beside miranda, i wrapped my arm around her waist and she laid her head on my shoulder "what time were you up at?" I questioned "6:30" she yawned again "wow, when did we go to sleep" i asked "around 3" she chuckled softly "you need more sleep" i kissed her head "i know, but lifes just hecktic so im lucky if i get two hours of sleep" she shrugged "Im home now, i can help you know" i chuckled "i know you can, but you just got off tour. Arent you the slightest bit tired" she smiled "i am, but i can help" i said "im gunna take you up on that offer one day" she giggled "one day? Why not today, or tomorrow, or everyday" i chuckled "cause, you get to relax for a good week after tour" she sat up and ran a hand through her hair. "You know... Your birthday is next week, Your turning 30! Let me take care of the kids for a few days so you can relax before your birthday" i smiled "fine" she sighed "i have one question though" she chuckled "okay" i looked at her "when did we get so old" she shook her head while smiling. "The day we moved out of the apartment" i chuckled standing up "good thing we moved out though" she stood up after me "yeah. We wouldve never had enough room for all of us there" i held her hand as we walked upstairs. "You know somthing though" i stopped her once we got to the top of the stairs "what?" She tilted her head confused "i love you just as much as i did back then, maybe a little bit more than then" i smiled and so did she "you've gotten more cheesier too" she kissed me "DAD, MOM COME QUICK" me and miranda pulled away and ran up the stairs into the music room "whose hurt" miranda asked fast "no one. Listen" kayla smiled and started playing the small piano, she started playing mary had a little lamb and dan started strumming random chords on the guitar.

"Done" dan smiled, me and miranda clapped as the kids stood up and did a little bowe "way to go guys" i smiled "loved it" miranda smiled. "Your turn" kayla pointed to the big piano "what do you mean hun?" Miranda asked kneeling down infront of kayla "you and daddy need to sing" kayla smiled as i walked to the piano. Miranda stood up and came to sit beside me "choose a song m'lady" i smiled, she nudged my hands out of the way "your singing the first part" she started playing good to you. I smiled and started to sing.

"Everyone's around, no words are coming out. And I can't find my breath, can we just say the rest with no sound. And I know this isn't enough, I still don't measure up. And I'm not prepared, sorry is never there when you need it. And I do want you know I hold you up above everyone. And I do want you know I think you'd be good to me, And I'd be so good to you. I would." I sang, miranda took a breath and started singing

"I thought I saw a sign, somewhere between the lines. Maybe it's me, maybe I only see, what I want. But I still have your letter, just got caught between someone I just invented, and who I really am and who I've become. And I do want you know I hold you up above everyone. And I do want you know I think you'd be good to me, And I'd be so good to you." She smiled and we both started singing the end

When we finished kayla and dan started clapping and cheering.
