Chapter 15

Miranda pov

I woke up in the same position as i fell asleep in, Josh still by my side. But this time the alarm clock was blaring. Groaning i sat up slightly, reaching over and turned it off. "Morning" Josh's eyes opened "morning" i smiled "i gotta go wake up the kids for school" i stood up out of bed. "Need help?" Josh yawned "not at the moment so you can try and get some more sleep" i said as i pulled on his housecoat. The kids had a tug-a-war with my housecoat and ripped it in half. I trudged down the hall way to Dans room. "Dan, time to get up and get ready for school" I stood by the end of his bed. He made an inhumanly noise and rolled over pulling his sheets over his head. "Come on Danny boy. Up and at it" i started to pull off his sheets. "Go away" he groaned "Daniel Matthew Ramsay, you either get up now or ill get your father to sing one direction to you" i smirked and he sat up and stumbled out of bed "I'm up" he said walking to his dresser finding his clothes for to day. "good, you have a half hour to get ready then we have to go" i stated and walked to Kayla's room. I opened to door and found her pulling on her jeans "well good morning" i chuckled and sat on her bed "can i get a haircut this weekend" She asked "what do you want done with it?" I asked "i want it like Tay Jardine or Jenna Mcdougall's hair" she said "Well damn okay. We can talk to dad about it after school okay" i stood up "okay, thank you" Kayla stood on her bed and jumped into my arms "you need to finish getting ready hun" i chuckled and set her down "okay" she laughed and walked to her dresser and started to look for socks as i walked out of her room. I walked downstairs to the kitchen and found Josh looking through the fridge "I'm so confused on how to make a child's lunch for school" he looked at me "second shelf from the bottom. Just choose two" i chuckled. He made an 'aha' noise and pulled out two lunchables "we got this" he smirked "um hell ya" i chuckled "now what?" He asked "water bottles? Are they even allowed those in school anymore" i chuckled "we'll risk it" he grabbed two water bottles out of the fridge. "Now i gotta make breakfast" i looked around the kitchen till i saw a box of sugar crisps "cereal it is" i chuckled walking to the box. "Milk" Josh placed the milk on the island. "I have a feeling Dan has fallen back asleep so i better go get him up" i sighed "i'll go, what was your threat this time?" He asked "for you to sing one direction" i laughed "on it" he took off up the stairs and into Dans room. It was quiet so maybe Dan is awake. "So get out, get out, get out of my head And fall into my arms instead I don't, I don't, don't know what it is But I need that one thing And you've got that one thing Now I'm climbing the walls But you don't notice at all That I'm going out of my mind All day and all night" i heard Josh sing in the most horrendous voice and then i saw Dan run out of his room into the bathroom. "How was that" Josh chuckled from just outside Dans room "beautiful babe" i smiled as i poured some cereal into four bowls.

Ten minutes later we were all finishing our breakfast and me and Josh were getting dressed. "Want me to come with you?" Josh asked as i pulled on my shirt "its up to you" i chuckled "I'm coming" he smiled "okay, we'll meet you in the car" i chuckled as he started pulling up his pants "be right there" he laughed. I walked down the stairs and Kayla and Dan had their shoes and coats on "all ready" i asked "yeah" they both answered "is dad coming?" Dan looked up the stairs "yup, we're just going to meet him in the car" i picked up their bags. Holy shit these are heavy. "Did you guys put you lunches in your bags?" I asked, they both nodded "alright to the car" i opened the door and grabbed my keys as the kids ran to the car. "Miranda" i looked back and Josh came running down the stairs while putting on his jacket. "Let me take those" he held his hands out for the bags "i got them, I'm not injured" i chuckled but then he grabbed the bags and gently pulled them off my shoulders "i don't want you to get hurt or anything" he said seriously "thank you" i kissed his cheek then we walked out to the car.

We pulled up outside Landon Elementary (a/n i don't know if this is a real school or not) "ready for school" Josh smiled back at the kids who were nodding. "Let us go then" we all got out of the car and walked up to the school. "Why hello there. Are you new here" a cheery lady greeted us "yes. We're in kindergarten" Kayla smiled "wow, that means your in my class, I'm Miss Monroe" the lady held out her hand for the kids then for Josh and i "Miranda" i smiled and shook her hand "Josh" Josh did the same. "Well, our is the second door on the left down that hall. You can sit anywhere you want" Miss Monroe smiled at the kids "come on! We want to pick our spots" Dan grabbed my hand and Kayla grabbed Josh's. We walked into a big class room filled with kids. Some where playing, others were gripping their parents leg crying, some were sitting at the round tables waiting patiently for class to start. "Go find some seats" Josh chuckled as the kids ran off. They picked two seats at a table in the bag of the class where no one was. We walked over to the table and Josh took their bags off his shoulders and set them down beside each of them. "We're going to head out okay, we'll be back to pick you up at 3" i smiled "okay, bye mom" i kneeled down and both kids kissed my cheeks, "see you at 3" Josh ruffled their hair and kneeled down "bye dad" both kids kissed his cheeks. "Be good" Josh chuckled standing back up. "We will" they both smiled and turned away from us. Me and Josh shrugged and started to go to the door, we were almost there when a lady stopped us "which one is yours?" She asked smiling "ours are at the far back table, the twins" Josh pointed them out. "Wow twins. That must be ruff" the lady chuckled "not when their well behaved" i said "wow where'd they learn to behave? A rockstar father and immature mother" the lady sneered "excuse me" i glared at her "my oldest daughter is a fan of Marianas Trench, I've seen videos and read tweets from both of you" she stated "we may not be as mature and dull as you but we are great parents" Josh said "dull... Your calling me dull" the lady laughed as Josh pulled me out of the room. "Who is she to tell us we're bad parents" i growled as we walked out of the school. "Don't listen to her, we're great parents" Josh held my hand.

"We have that party thing tonight right" i asked Josh as we got back into the car "yup, we need to be at Mike and Megan's at 6" he answered me "alright, when we get home i might have a nap" i said yawning "okay" Josh chuckled.
