Josh pov -week later-

I rolled over and felt sunlight hit my eyes. I opened my eyes and looked around. No Miranda? I looked at the clock "what the fuck?" I questioned aloud. 7:50am, not once did i get woken up by one of the babies crying last night. I crawled out of bed and walked down the hall to the nursery, i opened the door slowly and stepped in. Miranda was fast asleep in the rocking chair with the babies in her arms. I smiled as i walked over to the three of them. I gently picked up Jack and set him in his bassinet that was beside the chair. I kissed his head and he yawned. I smiled and picked up Jessie, whose eyes opened and smiled. She's not a deep sleeper. "Hi baby girl" i smiled and kissed her head. I set her down in her bassinet and stood with her till she fell back to sleep. I then walked over to Miranda "Miranda, Lets get you back to bed" i whispered loud enough for her to hear me her eyes shot open "are the kids okay?" She asked noticing the twins weren't in her arms. "Their fine, their sleeping. Lets go to bed" i held out my hand. I would've picked her up and just carried her to bed, but last time i tried that while she was asleep in the chair the chair rolled over my foot. Hurt like a bitch. Miranda took my hand and i helped her out of the chair "what time is it?" She mumbled tiredly "almost 8" i said "the kids have to get ready for school" she said fully awake now "its saturday" i reminded her. "Im so out of it" she rubbed her head. "When did you go sit with them?" I asked as we walked to our room. "Around 1 ish. Jack was crying." She sighed "why didn't you come back to bed?" I asked "because after i finished feeding Jack and got him back to sleep Jessie woke up crying so i fed her then Jack woke up again so i just stayed in there" she shrugged and sat on the bed yawning. "Lay down. Get a proper sleep. I'll watch the kids" i said "no it's fine" she shook her head "no. Stay and sleep. I will wake you up in a few hours" i said and kissed her head. "Thank you" she smiled and laid down.

"No Dan, Jack can't play with the guitar" i sighed as i took the guitar Dan put in Jacks crib out. "But why? Is he okay?" Dan asked "he's fine. He's just to young to play" i said and handed Dan the guitar. "Look dad!" I turned around and saw that Kayla had stopped the swing that Jessie is in and put a bow in Jessie's hair. I couldn't help but chuckle. "Thats very cute Kayla but i don't think thats a good idea" i went and carefully took the bow out of Jessie's hair. "We're bored" Dan announced. "Go find something to do then" i sighed as Jack started crying. I walked back over to Jack and picked him up. "Mom said she would take us out today" Kayla pouted "when did she say that?" I asked "yesterday before we went to bed" Dan said. I grabbed Jacks soother "maybe later. Moms slee-"."Moms right here" i heard Miranda chuckle from behind me, i turned around and saw her walking down the stairs. "Thought i was going to come wake you up" i said "i woke up early i guess" she paused "need a hand" she chuckled motioning towards crying Jack. "I got him" i smiled "mom can we go out?" Dan asked "that was today wasn't it" Miranda sighed as the kids nodded "want to walk to the park?" I suggested "PARK!" The kids cheered and ran to the door "not yet, we need to get the babies dressed" Miranda chuckled and went and picked up Kayla.

"Its warm today" Miranda said as we sat on the bench at the park watching the kids play "yeah, considering all the rain that has happened this week. This is nice" i smiled and wrapped my arm around her.

*hey guys just to give you a heads up, i will be fast forwarding a few years next chapter. I have more ideas for more in the future.
