Josh pov

Once the kids were in bed sleeping me and Miranda sat on the couch in the basement, well Miranda had her head on my lap "i think i owe you another night since your birthday sorta got interrupted" i chuckled as i ran my hand through her hair "in three to five weeks, your mine" she smirked up at me. "Not anytime sooner? Mom offered to watch the kids here so me and you could go to a motel" i said "ill think about it" she smiled and yawned "we should head to bed" i chuckled "or we can sleep down here" she chuckled "okay" i smiled as she sat up and scotched over so i could lay down on the outside of the couch. "Wow this couch seems bigger than it used to" i chuckled "maybe because the last time we slept like this was when i was 7 months pregnant" she smiled "wow was it really that long ago" i said surprised "yup" she chuckled and laid her head on my arm as i wrapped my other arm around her. "The kids were little and we needed to be near them. We also barley had alone time" she giggled "i think we have to change that" i kissed her nose "hmm more alone time" she smiled thinking about it "it'd be fun" i smirked "dirty boy" she chuckled "your fault" i smirked and kissed her. She deepened the kiss and i rolled her onto her back. I started kissing down her neck and she moaned. She started pulling my shirt up and pulled it over my head "Mommy" we stopped and i looked over the back of the couch "hey Kayla" i sat up and got off Miranda grabbing my shirt "whats wrong baby girl" Miranda sat up "Dan has to pee" Kayla walked over to us "what were you doing?" She questioned. "Uhhh-" Miranda cut me off "cuddling" she stated standing up, "ill go help Dan" she said as she ran up stairs.

"Lets get you back to bed" i picked up Kayla and walked up stairs as she laid her head in the crook of my neck. Once me and Kayla were up in her and Dans room i laid her in bed and tucked her in "have a good sleep" i kissed her forehead "love you daddy" she yawned "love you too sweetheart" i smiled as Miranda walked in carrying Dan. She tucked him in and kissed his forehead and they said their goodnights. "See you guys in the morning" Miranda smiled as her and I left the room. "That was a close one" i whispered in her ear as i wrapped my arms around her waist. She giggled as we walked into our room "how does friday sound?" She turned around and sat on the bed, "for what?" I asked "motel, alone time" she smiled and leaned back on her hands. I smiled and went and put my hands on each side of her on the bed and kissed her. She laid down and i continued to kiss her "cant wait" i broke apart then crawled into bed leaving her laying in the middle of the bed "I'm not a light switch, you cannot just turn me on and off when you please" she smiled "paybacks a motherfucker" i smirked back "for what" she laughed as she came and crawled in beside me "turning me on, downstairs" i stated "blame Kayla not me" she laid down next to me. "Well, at leased we found a way to... 'Calm' me. Just let our daughter walk into the room. That boner will be gone in a matter of seconds" i said "oh god..." She buried her face in my chest. "Good thing you weren't the shirtless one" i chuckled "no... Shhh it was awkward enough... Just shhh" she pulled her face out of my chest blushing. "No i will not just shhh" i smirked "i will make you shhh" she chuckled "hows that" i asked just as she pecked me on the lips. "Alright ill shhh" i kissed her back.
