Chapter 28 Search and Seek

*Hoofs beat  against the semi hard ground as we went farther into the woods. However luck wasn't a friend of mine today. As we turned we met a dead end when Drake and I tried to turn back around,we came face to face with the search and find assasins. A weird nickname seeing as they rarley killed people when they did however,let's just say it wasn't....clean*

"You two sure were hard to find,the hardest yet."

*I was about to responded when I realized I wasn't  in my normal attire. I let out a groan of annoyance I had to keep a low profile on my identity. Jinx jumped onto my lap and nudge my hand asking for permission,I had to decline her and made a single move down on her spine and she made a quick move up my arm and wrapped her tail around my neck so the rest of her body was hidden in my cloak Darkshadow pawed at the ground and tossed his head up and down giving off a wild and untamed look as he reared up and came down to the ground hard on his hoofs. I stayed on easily however it looked like I was barley staying on.*

"Secure that wild horse we don't need any trouble. It's obvious she can barley control it."

*I gave a two finger stroke on Darkshadows withers letting him know to let them secure him. He responded with a huff,but complied and let them rope him and he gave several deep huffs then calmed down like I asked.*

"Say the girl isn't bad looking,sweetcakes were you kidnapped too just like he was?"

*I shall play an innocent roll,this should be fun.*

"Yes,it was horrible the man who kidnapped us put us on these wild stallions and sent them on a direct order to keep running until they reached Evlen Ville where he was going to sell us for gold for either servants or.. I can't continue. Thank you soo much of saving us!"

*I managed fake tears to go with my innocent act which I am quiet surprised they bought. Drake showed confusion only in his eyes the rest of his face didn't show a single emotion as he remained nutral. He took a side glance at me as I saw realization hit him. Good job buddy boy ya figured it out now play along and play the role.*

"Do you know what your captor is now?"

*This time Drake responded with a clear and unyielding tone of voice.*

"Last we saw of him,he went in the opposite direction incase you caught up to us on these wild stallions trained by the Devil Tamer,so he could make a sneaky slip."

"I see."

*The men obviously had a hungry look on their faces as they looked at me. Pigs. Alas I have to play the part as much as it pains me. Thank the heavens I stashed my knives elsewhere on my body and not in my satchel! I just saved my skin by doing that,however Drake still had his sword so how will that be explained if found? Ahhh I think I know as long as Drake doesn't say anything I can work my magic as degrading as it will be.... Nope don't think about it!*

"Well let's bring you back,we will go to the Coal Villa to get some supplies and go meet our employers for capturing you,however you sweetcakes are a different story."

*They licked their lips at me and it sent a shiver down my spine. This is why I hate traveling with men and showing my true gender! I get these,these...animals! No not even, that is too good for them! They only have one thing on their mind and that is getting in a girls skirt,dress or ...whatever!*

"My father will pay you more,seeing as you helped saved the girl who kept me alive this whole time and kept the Night Assassin from killing me multiple times,that being if you don't touch her."

*So close to having the right angle to play,so close shoulda left off that last sentence I coulda gotten us outta here much faster get them with their pants pawn then,strike before anything happens. Now I need to find another angle....maybe I can still play that angle. I honestly don't want too,however it is the safest way for Drake and I to get out of here without either of us getting killed,or sold for more gold or me getting sold or...ughh what am I saying I am not a defenseless damsel I am the infamously know Night Assassin this should be a piece of cake for me,...right?*
