Chapter 32 A Dark Horse

*I clenched my hand around Darkshadow's mane of hair and pulled myself up without him bowing down. Darkshadow was taken back since my five one frame compared to his seven/ eight foot tall stature. Jinx was about to give a mroww of question however she saw my clenched jaw and swallowed her mroww. Darkshadow took several steps from where I had come from; the hot spring. Drake came out with a slightly worried confused and hurt look,as well as clothed.*

"Listen,Ivy I am sorry about, that I shouldn't have-"

"It's not your fault,but I think we should part ways here. You know enough not to get yourself killed and a assassin guild is near the village just travel north a ways and ask for Jase he is a well know traveling guard assassin ask for him and tell him the Night Assassin and or Devil Tamer is cashing in his I.O.U."

"Look, if it is because I tried to kiss you,it won't happen again."

"No,it isn't that,well it is,but it goes farther than just a kiss,...I can't love is all. I wish you the best and safe travels."

*Darkshadow took off at a fast paced gallop away. His footing was sure and we soon came out of the woods and onto dry grassy plains.Love one thing I absolutely long for,but can never have unless my lover gets cursed along with me...and I don't wish that onto anybody,especially Drake perhaps my only confident other than Jinx and Darkshadow,but they couldn't talk back to me,not even considering what they were. My eyes flashed a intense blue and green,Jinxes a emerald green and Darkshadows a blood moon red underneath the luminous moon shining her pale light upon my pale skin. Tonight was a full moon under the Scorpio sign my only knowledge of a time of estimated birth as well as a time when our true forms showed. When true forms show we have no control over what we do and only vaug memories however with time memories and actions can be controlled however the price,the pain inflicted is so great I can see lady death showing a gentle yet knowing smile at my pain however she never permanently takes my pain then and future pain away meaning my time isn't done yet I still have some cruel purpose on this earth,what I don't know if anything the world could do without me. Darkshadow's shift started first since the moon was currently covered by clouds his black pelt was lit with scarlet designs a black fog surrounded him his eyes turned more red than the scarlet blood that had laid spewed before me and an invisible force drew cartilage from his skull then hardened to scarlet and black bone Darkshadow was a dark unicorn a very aggressive horse which only ever served one master in their long lives and their master which they served shared a partial soul with them being just as tainted as they were if not more so and more cases than not they served the elves pledging loyalty without sharing a soul due to the elves sanctuary and protection in the forests. As aggressive and ill tempered as they were they were loyal a quality all of my companions have if we were to ever disagree and wish to go separate ways then I would not betray them or speak ill of them and they would not betray me either since they held power in the eighth realm where they originally resided. When Darkshadow was done he tossed his head up giving a shrill whinny and awaited my next command. If I told him to go to war alone with me we would come out the victor se against an army of a thousand and barley a scratch,that was how powerful Darkshadow's magic was however rm curse cancelled his magic out and kept his my and Jinxe's true firms concealed which was a good thing however hight was something it couldn't conceal only major distinctions and my hair color wasn't one apparently despite its sliverywhite tone as well as Jinx's albinism which couldn't be concealed due to lack of pigmentation in the skin an hair. I suppose to a certain degree I am part albino myself with my pale none tanning skin and silver hair however my eyes portrayed otherwise. Darkshadow's was perhaps the least painful and quickest change since not much changed for him other than markings and a horn which only retreat back into his skull and just left a hard helmet like crest protecting his brain I imagine it did hurt since the shift wasn't natural and held back from my curse,but not too bad since my curse was at it sweats on this one night the whole year my curse was almost completely dispelled however lingers with a grey marking showing in my skin currently my marking were gadding from grey to white letting the ceal weaken further.*
