The Curse

Chapter 31 Hot Spring Talk,Fun and Sorrow

*I found a hot spring while Drake was making a round into town for me seeing as Jinx didn't have any extra cloths for me to wear. I sat back letting out a moan of enjoyment from the natural hot spring which wouldn't get cold like the bath water from the palace.*

"Ahh this is the life on the run,free nobody to tell you what to do or where to be. I wouldn't give this up for all of the gold jewels and rubies."

*I sunk further down into the water submerging myself in the semi boiling water. I heard a crack of twigs and bolted up from the water holding my dagger close to my naked dripping wet body.*

"Hey Ivy I ...umm will leave these cloths right here."

*Drake turned around his face slowly heating up from embarassment.*

"Come join me you need a bath too since we haven't had one in almost nine months now."

"I can do that after you are finished."

"Naawww it will save time if you join me."

*Drake was still a blushing red and I realized I was standing out of the water holding a dagger dripping wet. I gave a small sigh then just sunk down into the water to talk.*

"Better now?"

"Yeah."

"Good come and take a bath with me so we save some time.''

*Drake shook his head like I was crazy but started to strip down I looked away so it wouldn't be awkward and waited till I heard a splash signaling he had entered.*

"Water feels nice doesn't it?"

"Yeah it does."

*I tied my dagger into my hair which was in a bun so my dagger was being used as a hairpin and the hilt was small enough to be assumed to be a bit large hairpin.*

"Thats pretty cool with what you did with your hair and your daggar."

"Your hair is long and thick enough to conceal acupuncture pins and if taught I can teach you how to paralyze kill and make a person seem dead just by using one acupuncture pin."

"Is there any weapon you can't use?"

"Yeah broadsword,club and any heavy weapon. However I know how to use them,not comfortably though."

"So in other words no you know how to use every weapon,"

"Yes,but not comfortably which is where you come in,my stature can't handle heavy weapons however yours can especially now that we have gotten you on my training regimen you now have the muscle mass capable of wielding a broadsword. Now I shall teach you a weapon everybody can use."

*I splashed Drake surprising him. He was totally drenched his hair was dripping wet from water and his shocked face was priceless so thus I let out a amused laugh.*

"Hey not fair!"

"Alls fair in water warefair."

"If that's the case then I can do this."

*Drake lunged for me and grabbed me from behind I let out a laugher filled squeak from the sudden advanse. I looked up to Drake seeing him smiling I was smiling and had a giggle also which didn't quiet fit with my hard exterior.*

"Ohh who knew little miss I kill for a living had such a feminine and cute giggl."

"Its not cute. Its the sound of ones demise!"

"Your too cute for your own good."

*I looked into Drakes eyes and they held something I had never seen directed towards me. The only thing ever directed at me was hate,fear,and death. However Drakes eyes held something more than that...it was so foreign to me I didn't even know what to call it. Drake was leaning in towards me and I to him right before our lips touch a word sounded in my head 'cursed' I pushed Drake away and scooted away from him and left him in the hot spring confused and probably hurt. I can't put Drake through anything and I can't love anybody,thats why I was on this journey so I never would love, so I can't curse anybody. I am a cursed child and cursed children can never love if they do they curse those who they love. Tears pricked my eyes, but I bit back my tears and put on the cloths Drake got me. It was a green dress and looked like something an elf would wear however it had a metal type glove so when in combat I could stop attack without worry of injuring my hand tears slipped from my eyes at how kind of a gesture that was even if it was small it meant a lot too me. I wiped my eyes and hardened my heart  I couldn't love nor ever would...I was a cursed child after all...I couldn't love it wasn't something I could do..it just wasnt.*
