Chapter 39 Light Elf

"Ehmmm, about how far from here?"

"I would guess about five to seven miles till light elfin land."

*I thought about it for a moment and looked at Darkshadow and at everybody then shook my head no.*

"Yeah as much as I would like to get there quickly Darkshadow can't hold all of us. "

"That's fine, I can just shadow travel which is about the same as Darkshadow's speed."

*Dark smoke once incircled Raja and I mounted Darkshadow which was bowing and Drake went behind me. The race began as Darkshadow followed the dark smoke which was Raja. Raja stopped and solidified in front of us at this point Darkshadow had stopped and Drake and I had dismounted. I heard bow strings draw and I looked up seeing arrow tips pointed at Raja and Drake as well as Darkshadow, but not me....light elfin...*

"Relax I was not kidnapped you don't have to draw your bows on them."

*Nope nothin. I did see a figure with golden hair so golden it was almost white and with forest green eyes and tanned skin not so tan, but tanned beneath trees tanned come out to greet me in much the same attire as Raja only it was green with white trim.*

"Archers lower your bows!"

*The archers listened, but kept watchful eyes upon us.*

"What are you doing here Raja?"

"Just thought I would pay my other half a visit, Rae. Then there is our beloved cousin."

"You mean this Faye?"

"Hey, look at the ears the teeth then the wings. I am part elf, part Faye, and part nymph."

"Ohhh, I remember now. Ivy."

"How is it you know her real name and I don't?!"

"She was five when she met me. You didn't meet her till she was eight and had learned not to tell her name to anybody since she was getting a rep for being a male assassin. So you I finally grew out of your tomboyish ways?"

"No."

"Your wearing a dress though."

"Thank Drake and Jinx."

*I pointed my thumb at Drake which was watching Jinx clean herself as he held a cringe of disgust on his face and Jinx stopped and gave a cat smirk at me. I returned her smirk with a rye smile.*

"Well let me guess you came here to have your curse lifted?"

"Yes."

"Well then-"

*Suddenly Drake doubled over and started to cough up blood. I knelt beside him and looked for any injuries all I could see were some veins turning black. Raja was leaning against a tree as he spoke.*

"The curse is setting in slowly for the mutt."

*I scanned his body and started to use my light magic to push back the curse from his heart, it was working and was pushed down to his nails and outer region of his body after this the curse would make its way to his heart slowly and I couldn't stop it after this.*

"Bring us some horses I set out today in search of the others."

*Several archers nodded and took off silently Drake regained his breath after a moment or two and I helped him up onto Darkshadow just as several pure white mares came up to us. Rae grabbed onto the lead mate and the other three followed behind.*

"Who is first on our list?"

"My Dark Faye relative. Then light, then dark nymph and lastly my light nymph."

"You have this down to a science then."

"Yes..."

*Darkshadow did a turn around in the direction of a assassins guild. Since it wasn't mine I had no authority over whatever happened. I put a dark cloak on over my wings and kept them pressed to my body so it looked more natural. The nearest assassin data base was three hundred miles from here to the next village. My guild had nothing on me since I didn't do house hire you had to find me then hire me so only one or two times I did house hire due to me paying my guild a visit to let them know I was still alive and of course word spread fast and several people hired me I of course did my job got the money and my kills were logged. My log list is the shortest you will ever see, but the unlogged on how many I left fatal injure then died from injuries after five minutes is far longer than any assassin you will ever meet. Even my dark Faye relative doesn't have that many kills. That says quiet a lot too seeing as he makes a living out of being an assassin whereas I am constantly traveling and just so happen to make some fatal wounds in several...ok all the towns I went through due to them pissing me off or somebody just so happened to know I was an assassin...ok know just so happened about it. I have a giant pure black horse I have white hair am short and have a blue and green eye the Night Assassin can only be so many people who fit that description.*
