Chapter 42 A Fay for a Uncle

*Raja and Rae caught up to Drake and I after a couple of minutes seeing as they now had a gathering of women. Guess who scared the little roaches away? Yup you guess it me.*

"If you don't want me to lose my already short temper GET!"

*So thus the girls left in a flurry.*

"You really should treat the ladies much nicer."

"Shut it asshole I know perfectly well how to castrate. Not to mention I myself... well I don't have any reason to continue that sentence since you already know."

"For the record Raja you are the only one s-"

*I elbowed Drake and he changed his wording.*

"He has given a impolite nickname too."

"Yeah I meant to ask you bout that. Why the hell did you give me that nickname?!"

"Cause you are what ya curse."

*I gave a smirk and Raja began grumbling cusses under his breath.*

"Would you two stop cussing?! Seriously there is no need for such vial language."

"Hey I am a dark elf, as for him, he has only half light and then half dark so we are justified."

"You two are most certainly not!"

"Hey, if I haven't learned anything since spending time about a year or so now on the road, it is that what is said goes when in dark mode."

"It still isn't justified!"

"Its a lost cause, stop while you are ahead."

"Well, nicely said Drake, we don't have much time we need to find my dark fay relative."

"Lead the way mee lady."

*Drake did a mock bow too me and I rolled my eyes at his gesture and lead the way. I walked down several alleyways which at this point got so narrow the rest of my group couldn't follow with their muscular forms in fact my elf relatives barley could squeeze by not to mention the low hanging beams above them.*

"We can't go any farther."

"You can't, but I can. Wait for me here, if I am not back in three hours then go find Jinx and she will find me."

*I bounded away on light feet moving freely with my small form till I came out in front of some rather large gates and a mansion not far away. I scanned the area and saw a man in black moving stealthily along a roof tip the guards oblivious below. I watched as he moved through a open window into a room I could hear the knife cut deeply into a vital organ with my advanced hearing. He slipped out of the room clean then used the fence as a way to travel unnoticed with the large bushes. A scream was heard with the discovery of the still warm corpse then a thud sounded behind me and a knife was presses to my throat.*

"Sheath your weapon, I have a business proposition coming to you as  a fellow assassin and family."

"I don't have a family."

"Then how were you born, cause it takes two to tango. Besides to you I would be your cursed niece."

"I don't have  a brother. You do, two sides of the same coin although I am not their daughter I am their niece. Now I have a proposition for you, if you can help me ride of my curse which in turn rides of my lovers then you will get money if that is what you wish."

"What is your assassin name?"

"In this town I am known as the Night Assassin."

"That's a guy not a girl."

"So I have people believing. Isn't that the ultimate deception as an assassin not even the guild you signed up for knows your gender?"

"Prove you are who you say you are."

*I moved my hood away from my head so my eyes and hair were showing.*

"You could have dyed your hair and put contacts in."

*I moved my hand to the root of my hair and parted it showing my roots down to the very beginning. Then looked my uncle in his eyes to let him see the sheen in them not obtainable by artificial coloring.*

"So you are."

"Now will you help me?"

"Very well I shall. My payment, I want it to be 20 gold, can you afford me?"

"I can."

*I jingled the coins in my coins pouch and my uncle reached for it however I yanked it back.*

"Not until the job is done."

"Just testing you."

"Ok, well follow me."

*I lead my fay uncle through the ally passages, he was lean in form and held more feminine features,but by all means wasn't short, just under 6 ft.*

"If you tell me your name, I will tell you mine."

"Ivy."

"Anubis."

"Well it seems we have the god of the  underworld and the god of the sun in our mist."

*I replied half jokingly. We came out of the ally way and were met by Ra and Raja tying to help Drake as he was crumpled over in pain and his veins pulsed an inky black then it subsided.*

"The curse is spreading more within the mutt."

"We are running out of time, we are doing to have to hurry up and find the other three."

"What exactly did I just agree too?"

"Helping me get ride of my curse and prevent him from being cursed to who knows what."
