Hazel and Frank were always teased about their age different. People would say, "He's so much older than you" and "You are like 14, and he's 17. That's a big age different for your ages." And they would just laugh. They knew there was a big age difference. A really big one. Just everyone else didn't realize that the oldest one wasn't Frank, that it was Hazel. Those people didn't even know the half of their age difference.
