Larry's pov :
It's Saturday night in downtown LA, California. Criminalz Crew are scheduled to battle Jabbawockeez. I'm kinda nervous about battling them. Last year, we lost to them.

The judges announced Jabbawockeez to be the winners. As we sat in the dressing room, we were so frustrated.

" I can't believe we lost to them, again. I've never know anybody to dance as crazy as we do. And still lose? Something has got to give." I said to the crew.

I'm sure everyone felt the same way I did. As we continued to complain, a tall well dressed and groomed man entered the room.

" Excuse me. I don't mean to interrupt, but my name is Ty. I'm looking for some dancers. Y'all in?" Ty asked.

" Is this a joke?" I thought to myself.

" After the way we lost, are you serious?" Laurent added.
" What I saw out there was good enough. I'm Aaliyah's manager and I'm here to offer you the chance of a lifetime. R&B singer is looking for back up dancers to perform with her later tonight." Ty explained.

" Oh my god! I can't believe it!" Criminalz Crew excitingly said.
" Hold up, everybody. How do we know this is for real?" I questioned.
" What all the excitement about?" Mike asked as he entered the dressing room.

When Laura told Mike about Ty's offer. Mike cut Laura off and said,

" Excuse me, Ty. But any business you want with them, you need to run it pass me first. I'm their manager. Are we clear on that?"
" You're right. I didn't mean any disrespect. Let's talk outside." Ty replied.

Mike and Ty left the dressing room. Mike was being rude to Ty. But that's just who Mike is. Tough and all about the money.

" Man, Mike better not ruin this chance for us." Laurent said with his arms folded across his chest.

I wonder what they're talking about. We all sat silently as we waited for Mike and Ty to return.

Ty's pov:
After I saw Criminalz Crew perform, I was amazed. I was shocked they lost the dance battle. But the other team was amazing too. I knew they would be perfect. They're just what I'm looking for.

While talking with Criminalz Crew, I was glad at their response to my offer. However, their manager Mike is very rude. I'm not getting good vibes from this guy as we're talking about a deal. But if I want Criminalz Crew, I have to go through Mike.

" I heard Aaliyah is going on tour. So you want them to join her on the road?" Mike asked.
" She is. I really do want them to. I think they are perfect." I replied.
" They are. They are Paris finest. So... how much are you willing to pay?" Mike bragged.
" I'm willing to pay $1,000." I answered.
