Author's POV:
A teenage girl by the name of Julie was hanging out with friends; after school. Julie wasn't your average girl. Julie was a rebel. And so was her friends. When Julie got home, her foster parents was gone.

They went into her bedroom and blasted music.

"God, I'm so sick of school. Teachers acting like my parents. And kids acting like their better then me." Julie complained.
"Right." One of her friends, Bruce added.

Julie glanced at Bruce and asked,

"What's that you smoking on?"
"Meth. Take a puff." Bruce offered.
"How does it feel?" Julie asked.
"I've tried it before, it makes you feel invincible." Ana added.
"Give it to me." Julie said and took the smoke pipe from Bruce.

While Julie was smoking, her foster parents bursted in the room.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" Tami shouted.
"ALL OF YOU! GET OUT OF HERE!!" Allen shouted.

Bruce and Ana ran out the room.

"Tami? Allen? I...I..can explain." Julie nervously said.
"What is this?" Allen demanded as he snatched the smoke pipe from Julie.
"It's nothing. So, give it back!" Julie yelled as she reached for the smoke pipe.
"I'm so disappointed in you. After all we've done for you. And this is how you repay us." Tami sadly mentioned.
"I didn't asked to be here! I don't need you or you! NOW GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" Julie shouted and pointed to the door.

Julie has turned Allen and Tami's life upside down since they adopted her. Allen and Tami were at their breaking point with Julie.

"You don't need us! FINE, get your things and get out! RIGHT NOW!" Allen shouted and walked to her closet.

While Allen yanked all Julie's clothes off the hangers, Tami tried to talk Allen out of his decision. But Allen was ignoring all Tami efforts. Julie was in disbelief on how Allen was acting. As Tami cried, Allen bagged Julie's things and threw it out the door.

"What the fuck you doing?!" Julie yelled.
"I'm sick of you. You ain't gonna amount to nothing. Just like your mama!" Allen yelled and pushed Julie out the front door.
"ALLEN! Stop this, please! She's just a girl!" Tami cried out.
"STAY OUT OF THIS!" Allen yelled and pushed Tami to the side.

Julie roamed the streets, looking for food and shelter. She went to her friends for help. But they turned their backs on her. For a week, she lived in the basement of the high school she attended. One night, Julie was overwhelmed by the heat from the water heater. She went outside for a while.

As she walked, her loneliness and sadness consumed her mind and heart. She glanced up and realized she walked further than she planned. Julie walked into a park. As she walked around the park, she saw someone; sitting on a table. Julie quietly approached the person and said,

"Excuse me?"

The man quickly stood up from the table and pointed a gun at her. Julie put her hands up and said,

"Hey, hey! I'm not armed."

Another man appeared behind her; with a gun pointed at her head and added,

"I know you aren't."

Julie became scared as she realized she was out numbered.

"I don't want no trouble, man. I just wanted to know if you guys are selling a little something." Julie nervously asked.

The men lowered their guns.

"Oh, I see. You think we're drug dealers. You're looking like a little something. What's your name?" One of the men asked.
"Julie."
