WHAT IF?

Alternate Ending: Back and Forth Pt2

After Larry's speech at the Grammy's, it was now Laurent's turn to speak.

"I want to thank my friends, family, fans and most of all my brother..."

As Laurent paused for a moment, he started to have flashbacks of all the good and bad times they had together. From them making love, to the arguments and the many lies. Laurent took a deep breath as his eyes started to water.

"My brother...he's always...been the SAME SELFISH SON OF A BITCH SINCE WE WERE LITTLE!" Laurent said in anger.

Larry quickly approached him and asked,

"What you talking about?"

Laurent smiled and tried to stop his tears from falling.

"This is what I'm talking about!" Laurent yelled  and pointed to the screen.

When Candi saw her signal from Laurent, she played the video of Larry raping and beating Laurent. The entire audience was utterly shocked and disgusted.

"What's wrong Larry? Can't handle the truth! This man has physically, emotionally mentally, sexually and financially abused me for the last five years!! AND IM NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!" Laurent shouted arms tears rolled down his face.

Candi was backstage cheering Laurent on,

"Stand up, Laurent. That's right!"
"STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!!" Larry demanded.
"NEVER!!" Laurent shouted at the top of his lungs.

Larry charged at Laurent like a fierce bull. Police officers stopped Larry from hitting him and said,

"Larry Bourgeois, you are under arrest for multiple charges of domestic violence and unpaid child support. And you are in violation to a restraining order."
"WHAT?!" Larry confusingly shouted.

The police removed Larry from the stage. Laurent apologized to the audience and walked to the other side of the stage. Candi stood before him with open arms. Laurent held her and said,

"Thank you."
"You're more than welcome. Hey, you wanna say your final goodbye to Larry?" Candi asked.
"Let's go." Laurent replied.

They held hands and ran to the exits. They ran to the police car where Larry was in. Larry was in the back of the police car having a fit.

"I HATE YOU! I FUCKING HATE YOU!!" Larry screamed and spit on the window.

Laurent and Candi stepped back from the car.

"Thank god the window is rolled up." Laurent said and laughed.

As the police care drove away, Laurent and Candi waved while yelling,

"BYE BITCH!!"

Candi glanced at Laurent and asked,

"Lau, do you think it's possible for a straight woman to fall in love with a gay man?"
"Well, a gay man...no. A bisexual man...absolutely." Laurent replied with a smile and wink.

Laurent removed the ring from his hand and said,

"Hey do you know where a near by pawn show is?"

Candi laughed and replied,

"I sure do."
