Hayy!!

I know I'm late updating but I had absolutly no time to update yesterday. Sorry!

And just to let you all know, I'm leaving on holiday (Croatia, yey! :D) on Saturday so this may be the last chapter I post until I get back though I will try and upload at least one more.

If not I apologise for the long wait but I'll update the minute I'm back :D

Chapter 31 – Ten Teenagers + Miami = Trouble (Part 3)

Trisha’s P.O.V. 

There was silence for a long time as we all waited in anticipation for Jacob to say something. But he didn’t, he just stood there staring at the ground. Grace was standing behind him awkwardly looking scared and guilty at the same time.

“Well then?” I finally said prompting Jacob to say something.

He looked at me and I saw that he had tears in his eyes.

“Why do I always have to hurt everyone?” he asked me pleading with his eyes for an answer.

“That is something that you have to answer yourself Jacob, no one can help you with that”.

He looked back to the spot he has been staring at and fell to his knees.

“I’m a horrible person” he whined and started to cry.

I stood there dumbfounded as Grace fell to her knees next to Jacob and pulled him into her chest. My brother hasn’t cried openly since he was about five. That’s when it hit me that he really did not know what to do.

“I see what’s going on” Caitlin said bringing me back to the present. I looked at her but she didn’t look at all upset. If anything she looked… relived.

Jacob looked up at her and I had to look away from his face. He looked so guilty that I wanted to cry at how broken he looked, “Caitlin I am so sorry” he managed to croak.

“Don’t worry” she said walking up to him and kneeling in front of him, “I kinda knew all along that there was more to your harshness”.

“You did?” Jacob asked confused. Grace still had her arms around him and she looked really uncomfortable with the situation.

“Yeah, I knew something had happened that summer in Miami, and you were way too happy to be coming back now, so it all made sense”.

I stared at what was happening before me with my mouth hanging open. Caitlin was acting way too calm about this whole thing. She must have something up her sleeve. I looked around at the others and they all wore the same expression as mine. Justin on the other hand was staring at me like he was linking some things together so I gave him a questioning look. He came closer and leaned down to whisper in my ear, “I think she has a thing for Logan”.

“What?” I whispered back.

“Wait shh, let’s see what Jacob has to say” Justin whispered placing a finger on my lips.

“Caitlin I didn’t want this to end like this, and I feel horrible, but… I love Grace, and I want to be with her” Jacob said pleading for Caitlin to understand.

“I can see you love her” she said surprising me further, “I can see it in your eyes. But I have something to tell you too” Jacob gave her a questioning look inviting her to carry on, “you know when you were filming with Logan?” Jacob nodded, “well… let’s just say that I was the first to cheat, though technically we were on a break, but still” she said quickly.
