2 Days Later: Tuesday after school
Wicky’s P.O.V.
“Chaz come on we have to hurry” I screeched pulling on his arm, “we have to be there early!”
“Okay, okay babe” Chaz said turning around and finally moving, “no pressure” he added as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders and kissed my head, “I wanna have you to myself for a bit”.
I blushed at his words.
“Awww is that a little blush I see?” Chaz asked mockingly.
“Oh shut up” I said punching him on his side.
“Ouch, okay sorry”.
I just shook my head at him.

“You two ready?” my dad asked popping his head around my bedroom door.
“Yes sir” Chaz said getting up from my bed and pulling me with him, “we’re ready to rock this”.
“Come on then” my dad answered grinning and opening the door properly.
“Is mum coming?” I asked him.
“Yeah she is, and so is your sister”.
“What? Dad she’s six”.
“And?”
“Is this like some family outing?”
“Err…” my dad paused for a second, “I guess”.
I shook my head at him, “well then Chaz, why don’t you bring your parents?” I asked sarcastically as we walked down the stairs.
“You know, that isn’t such a bad idea” he said giving me a thoughtful look.
“I was joking okay?” I said annoyed.
“Hey, don’t be such an angry fish” Chaz said taking my hand and giving it a squeeze, “it would be a good way for our parents to meet”.
“At my fathers concert?” I said sarcastically.
“Why not? My parents like your dad’s music, you know, they’re bound to get on, and it won’t be as awkward”.
I thought about that, “you have a point” Chaz gave me a big smile and kissed me quickly.
“I’m gonna call them then”.
“We have to go so call them on the way yeah?” my dad said opening the front door.
“Sure”.
“Chaz!” Tanzi called as she ran up to Chaz and attacked his leg, “are you coming too?”
“Yes I am” Chaz said in a stupid baby voice.
“Hey kids” my mum said emerging from the living room, “so I guess it’s all of us going is it?”
“Yeah” I said frowning.
“Oh cheer up, I thought that you would get used to the fact that your dad is a musician”.
“I am it’s just that it feels weird, this whole situation” I said shrugging my shoulders.
“You’ll be fine” Chaz said hugging me from behind, “we’ll be fine” he whispered in my ear. I smiled and my mum smiled back at me.
