Mackenzie's POV

I was staring up at my white ceiling when I heard movement in the bathroom. I slowly made my way from my bed and into the bathroom to see who it was. My mind obviously had told me it was Arabella since both our rooms had a door to the bathroom and both our rooms were connected by it.

I opened the door and bending over to the cabinets under the sink scavenging through the mess was Arabella.

"What are you looking for?" I crossed my arms and leaned on the door frame.

"Have you seen the flat iron?"

I walked back to my room and grabbed the straightener that was laying on my dresser.

"Here" I handed it to her.

"Thanks"

"Where are you going?" I asked as I crossed my arms again.

"Out"

"Out where it's Monday?"

"Is it any of your business?"

When she finally looked up from the cabinet her face changed. Almost like it went from subtle to harsh.

"Never mind" I turned and sat back on my bed.

Arabella popped her head in my room but kept her feet planted in the bathroom.

"Sorry I just didn't think I had to tell you my every move"

"It's not my fault I can't trust you when you go out"

"What does that mean?"

"It means that I'm sick and tired of getting calls from people saying that your wasted all the time. Do you even know how you got home that day?"

Arabella stood quiet for a split second and that's when I knew that she had no idea what happened.

"Exactly" I sarcastically said and went back to my computer.

"What the hell did I do to you that you have to be acting like a bitch?"

"Well if acting like a bitch saves you from humiliation then I will take that any day over the way you acted"

"Alright explain to me what the hell happened that night then?"

"Well for starters when I found you at the party you were almost unconscious all over Johnson and second of all, Sammy had to carry you into his car like you were a rag doll"

This time I really shut Arabella up. It must have gotten to her that she really screwed up.

"I'm sorry" she mumbled.

"You know what happened to me at the party before freshman year was shit. You are the only one who even knows about it and the fact that you still go out and drink like an animal is disappointing"

"You know what's disappointing! The fact that I'm pretty much certain that Jack is cheating on me! and I have no way to get that thought out my head" Her voice cracked.

That little bastard didn't tell Arabella about the whole touring gig.

"Bella, he's not cheating on you" I said calmly.

"How do you know?!"

"I don't but I just know that he wouldn't do something like that"

I could see the pain in Bella's eyes as she thought about Jack. I quickly ran up to her and hugged her tightly.

"Trust me, he loves you, I love you" I squeezed her harder.

I knew that as soon as I had the chance to get out of the house I was going to take a knife up to that boys throat and that was the end of story.
