Arabella's POV

Mackenzie and I decided to skip last period so we could help Jack and Johnson set up Sammy's apparent surprise birthday party we were having in the woods where we all met up on Thanksgiving.

"Can you get up and get your feet off the coffee table" I put my hands on my waist and kicked Jacks feet off the table.

"Why so pouty babe?" Jack squished my cheeks between his fingers and made a kissy face.

"Cause to be honest your lazy as fuck" I said nicely.

"Someone is on their..." Jack began to say but I jetted in.

"Someone's on their what?" I made a serious face and stood up straighter.

"Ara, I'm messing with you baby, chill" Jack put both his hands on my waist.

"Jack this isn't fucking hilarious. I need Mackenzie to feel like Sammy isn't that total of an idiot like he shows himself to be"

Just as I finished talking Mackenzie walked in from the kitchen.

"Who's an idiot?" she laughed and bit into her apple.

"Jack" I gave Jack a dirty look and continued on packing the box of decorations we were planning on taking with us.

"Jack do you mind driving ahead of us. I really want to make sure we have all the right decorations and I want you to be In charge of things down at the location. You know just in case Johnson or Nate have any dumb ideas" I said and smiled. He looked at me sort of confused but I widened my eyes and it seemed to reach him that I wanted him to leave.

"I will see you in a few then" he came and placed his hand on my lower back " don't do anything stupid" he whispered in my ear and kissed my cheek before walking out the house.

"Okay now that leaves the idiotic, dumb ones in charge of getting the place together which is fantastic" I pushed my hands down on the counter "but now we can make sure we have all the food and go get ready after that"

"Yeah sure lets go"

Mackenzie grabbed her car keys and we headed towards the restaurant where we had ordered some food from.

"Two trays for Arabella Gomez" I perked up and said to the young man at the counter.

"Here you go" he swung over three bags. Kenzie and I managed to carry the heavy bags back to the car and carefully put them in the back seat.

"Alright now I say its time we go home and change" Kenz suggested.

"Sounds good to me"

The car ride seemed pretty long considering we had taken the highway and also because it was rush hour.

"So tell me, how's things been with Sammy?" I discretely smiled. Kenzie looked at me confused because of the random question.

"Good" she hesitated when she answered. I couldn't even sleep last night because all I could hear was Kenz on the phone with Sammy all night. I just honestly feel as if she should know and if she does know then there is no harm done.

"Listen Kenz" I gripped the steering wheel firmly as I put the car in park in the driveway "it's been bugging me for the past few days and frankly I don't know how to ask this but did you know that Sammy had sex with Hanna?"

I realized from her facial expressions that I had asked in a very impolite and uncalled for manner.

"Can we take this inside?" she said but didn't look me in the eye.
